Good evening Fellow Poets and all Creatives, Trusting this Autumn-ish weather is treating you all with much enthusiasm and inspiration.

The Victoria Park Poetry Club's next gathering is on Thursday 23 May, 6.00 - 7.45pm @ Victoria Park Library. Bring along coloured texters, pencils etc to partake in a creative brainstorm, equalling inspiration to take home at the end of the session.

Looking forward to seeing all the regulars and newbies. Spread the word amongst your creative peeps.

A Valentines Day's Celebration - For The Love Of Poetry
Wednesday 14th February 2024
6.00 – 7.30pm @ The Victoria Park Library, 27 Sussex Street, East Victoria Park

We invite you to put your feet up and dip at leisure into this ' sea of plenty' with an entertaining evening of poetry and short stories from 'Chapters'. A group of tenacious 'True Grit' local writers who effect literary excellence through the power of language and engagement. Presented by Lefki Kailis, discover 11 new works read by their authors and join in with the conversation afterwards with the members.

Light refreshments will be offered.
Books will be on sale.

Fellow Poets & Creatives - Welcome to the written word that is Poetry.

I am so excited to be the bearer of good news. I have created the Victoria Park Poetry Club and the inaugural meeting is on Thursday 25 January, 2024 at The Victoria Park Library.

Come along and allow poetry to assist:
1. In meeting like-minded people who have passion for the written word.
2. Increase your creative thinking & emotional expression.
3. Connect and collaborate.
4. Help you slow down, reflect and be inspired.

Please arrive by 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start.

leads Jirdarup towards
fragrance eucalyptus
candlestick banksia surprise
tree hollows waiting to be rehomed
as raptors descend upon an easy meal.
