Due to the chaos of seeing friends and family I have forgot to do some advertising 😬

As many of you know…. The Brookesys have decided to take an extended trip to the UK to catch up with friends and family we haven’t seen since COVID

🍁🍁 Autumn Skincare Tips 🍁🍁

The change in weather can have huge consequences on your skin.

It causes it to be dry, dull and lack lust giving you a tight feeling throughout your face.

I have put together 4 tips to help you keep consistency throughout the colder months and maintain your skins integrity.

🍂 Choose a thicker moisturiser 🍂
This provides extra hydration. Look for moisturisers with hyaluronic acid or shea butter for extra moisturising goodness. Adding a facial oil at night can also help adding extra hydration.

🍂 Drink plenty of water 🍂
Keeping hydrated allows for your skin to absorb water from the inside out. As the weather gets cooler the air becomes drier leading to your skin becoming dry and dehydrated.

🍂 Exfoliate your skin daily 🍂
With dry air comes dry flaky skin. Ensure you are using a light exfoliator to gently remove dead skin cells allowing for all the underlying cells to absorb all the moisture-y goodness your applying to your skin.

🍂 Use sunscreen daily 🍂
UVA rays are always in the sky (unless its dark). Maintaining a good daily sunscreen routine, even during winter, will retain moisture in the skin and prevent UV damage.
