Real stories matter.

At the Hub in Scarborough Beach, Jevyn Myers sits down with .ellis04 from .oz Clothing for our Community Champion Campaign — a series built around honest conversation, lived experience, and the reminder that no man has to carry it all on his own.

This campaign is about giving men space to share where they started, what they’ve been through, and what helped them keep going.

By sharing stories from business owners, FIFO workers, and everyday men across Perth and regional WA, we’re working to reduce stigma, build connection, and make it easier for more men to speak up earlier.

Because when men hear real stories from other men, it can open the door to their own conversation.

Watch, share, and help us keep these conversations moving.

🧘Breathe. Reset. Connect.

Join us for Move, Breath & Connect – Breathwork with on Sunday, April 19 at the Scarborough Amphitheatre.

Adam’s monthly breathwork sessions are designed to help men regulate the nervous system, release built-up stress, and feel more grounded in themselves.

Through guided techniques including diaphragmatic breathing, rhythmic breath patterns, and breath holds, this session creates space to pause, reset, and reconnect.

After the session, we take a cold dip, grab a coffee, and spend time connecting together as a community.

Whether you are new to breathwork or returning to the practice, this is a grounded and supportive space to show up as you are.

A very special visitor stopped by the Men’s Talk Hub in Scarborough this week.

We were honoured to welcome Vince Garreffa, former Australian of the Year, one of Western Australia’s best known and most successful butchers, and one of our Men’s Talk Community Champions.

Vince has lived a life of service, and that same commitment to community, connection, and showing up for others is exactly what this campaign is about.

Our Community Champion campaign is all about sharing real conversations with men from across our community to help raise awareness around men’s mental health, reduce stigma, and remind men that speaking up matters.

These are stories that help make men’s mental health more visible, more human, and more connected to everyday life here in Perth.

We’re looking forward to sharing Vince’s interview, along with more Community Champion conversations, starting next week.

Stay tuned.

A big congratulations to the Mental Health First Aid Course Class of March 2026.

This group showed real commitment across the two-day course, building practical skills and knowledge to better support someone experiencing a mental health problem.

Facilitated by Paul Ellis, the course gave participants the tools to recognise mental health struggles, respond with greater confidence, and help create safer, more supportive communities.

As Tim shared:
“The course was an amazing insight to gain skills and knowledge to help people going through a tough time. The more people that do it the better. Highly recommend it! Plus Paul Ellis was amazing!!!”

Paul also reflected on the strong involvement from the group, especially for a free program sponsored by , and said the level of engagement has left the team looking forward to seeing how participants impact their own communities.

Thank you to everyone who took part.
