There’s a version of you who holds it all together.
Capable. Reliable. Strong.

But there’s another version, quieter, deeper, who’s tired of performing strength and ready to feel whole again.

If you’ve been strong for too long, start here.

1️⃣ Tell the real truth.
Not “I’m fine.” The actual truth.
That you’re exhausted in a way sleep doesn’t fix. That coping became your identity. That you don’t even know what you need anymore.
Clarity begins when you stop pretending.

2️⃣ Regulate before you reinvent.
You don’t rebuild your life from a braced nervous system.
When you’ve been strong for too long, your body is still in protect mode.
Slow down. Breathe properly. Create safety.
Safety first. Expansion second.

3️⃣ Stop negotiating yourself away.
Every time you override your needs to keep the peace, you abandon yourself.
Coming back to you isn’t dramatic.
It’s saying no.
It’s not over explaining.
It’s backing yourself in real time.
Self trust is built in decisions.

4️⃣ Choose the stretch.
Autopilot feels safe. It also keeps you small.
Growth will feel awkward. Maybe exposed. Maybe inconvenient for others.
Discomfort isn’t danger.
It’s expansion.

5️⃣ Decide you matter, and act like it.
Not as a quote. As a standard.
You matter enough to rest.
To want more. To change. To take up space.

Becoming yourself again isn’t about finding something new.

It’s removing who you had to become to survive.

Women don’t lose themselves.

They adapt. Armour up. Over-function. Become “the strong one.”

This is the work I do.

She told me she didn’t really like herself.
And that feeling?
It had been there most of her life. She’s 31.

On the outside, functioning. Working. Showing up.
On the inside, deep in anxiety.

Not just stress.
Not just a rough season.
A constant undercurrent of self doubt. Bracing. Second guessing.

We didn't just focus on the anxiety.
We didn’t.
Because anxiety is rarely the root.
It’s the alarm.

So instead of trying to “calm it down,” we looked beyond it.

Underneath the anxiety were beliefs she’d been carrying for years...
I’m not enough.
I have to keep everyone happy.
If I take up space, something bad will happen.
My needs don’t really matter.

Anxiety wasn’t random.
For Kylie it was a nervous system responding to a life lived in self abandonment.

So we worked at the identity level.
We uncovered the limiting beliefs.

We separated who she truly is from who she learned to be in order to cope.

We regulated her nervous system so speaking up didn’t feel dangerous.

We rebuilt self trust in grounded, embodied ways.

And as that shifted…
She began placing more value on herself.
She stood up for herself.
Her family noticed the difference.
She felt more confident at work.

Not because she forced confidence.
But because she stopped believing she was small.

This is the work I do. We don’t manage symptoms.
We dismantle the identity that created them.

It’s time to outgrow the story you believed.
Not because you were naive. Not because you made it up.

But because that story was written by a younger version of you who was doing her absolute best to cope.

It was built in moments where you were trying to keep the peace, hold it together, not rock the boat, not be “too much,” not be left.

It helped you survive awkward rooms, hard conversations, disappointments, heartbreak.

It helped you become strong. Capable. Responsible. The one who figures it out.

And for that, you can honour it. Truly.

But survival stories are written in protection, not possibility.

And the thing that once kept you safe can quietly become the thing that keeps you small.

Outgrowing it doesn’t mean rejecting your past.

It means recognising that you’re not that version of you anymore.
You’ve lived more. You’ve learned more.

You’ve felt the friction of outgrowing spaces that used to fit.

You’ve noticed the subtle tightening in your chest when you default to the old script.

The over explaining. The over giving. The self doubt that shows up right before expansion.

💥That’s not truth. That’s habit.💥
And you are allowed to update your habits.

💥You are allowed to say, “That belief made sense once. It doesn’t make sense now.”

💥You are allowed to choose a narrative that matches the woman you’ve become, not the one who was just trying to get through.

💥Stop protecting a version of you that no longer needs protection.
