As we wrap up the year, it’s worth taking a moment to look at how far everyone’s come. There’s been a lot of growth, and that’s something to be proud of.

Heading into the new year, it’s a great time to think about what’s next. Setting a few clear goals, however small, can make a big difference — whether it’s getting out more, learning a new skill, or building independence.

We’re excited to work alongside the boys as they chase their goals in 2026.

A lot of parents share the same worry with us:

Independence isn’t about doing everything alone — it’s about being capable, not isolated. It’s having choice, not being left on your own. It’s learning, trying, and having support that builds confidence and skills instead of replacing them.

Our mentors focus on real-life skills — planning outings, cooking meals, navigating the community, and making decisions with support, not for them.

Independence grows when young men feel safe enough to try.
