The Blossom Guide (TBG) is a program delivered through a series of five workshops. Its aim is to help young women develop confidence and awareness when making choices concerning their sexuality. TBG content focuses on ‘Social Sexuality’ and how external factors can affect young women’s behaviours and attitudes. The program is fresh, modern and ‘down to earth’ exploring topics in a fun and interactive way using audio visual tools, group work, wellbeing activities and personal reflections. The program combines social sciences, youth development and wellbeing exercises. On completing the program young women will feel positive and have increased knowledge of, and confidence in, their own sexuality and identity. The program is delivered in a variety of spaces including schools, local councils, community services and private venues. Since its launch in May 2016, the program has been delivered to over 500 participants in a variety of settings, including but not limited to:
• AISWA- Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia
• Anglicare Australia
• Department of Child Protection and Families
• John Curtin Senior High School
• North Lake Senior High School
The Blossom Guide also offers additional services
- Mother/Daughter workshops
- One on One session

THANKYOU ❤️
I have been waiting for the right time to share that I have decided to end The Blossom Guide Program.
After 3 years of delivering workshops, talks and mentoring to young women in Perth I have decided it is time for the project to come to an end.
I do so with a full heart and gratitude for all the wonderful young women I have met, the support, partnerships and life long friends I have made on the journey.
I set out to empower young women (hopefully I did that) but now realise the program allowed me to empower myself (woahhhh)!
The work that has been done has now transformed into something else (funny how life does that). I am going to continue doing what I love to do and that is write, I am taking the core themes from The Blossom Guide and am writing a NOVEL about a young woman!
I feel like a lunatic saying that out loud and 3 years ago never would have believed it was possible but that is what The Blossom Guide journey has gifted me 🌼
So again, thank you to every single person that believed in TBG and booked and to every person who followed the journey and supported TBG's vision and mission.
There is so much great work being done for young peoples wellbeing in Australia and WA and I am enjoying sitting back and watching.
I am currently at my kitchen table with my scruffy scarf on, dark chocolate truffles, a pot of herbal tea and writing while I listen to the rain outside.
This is where I'll be for the next few months. I couldn't think of a better time to say goodbye for now 🤗

Thankyou to all individuals, organisations and schools that supported or booked TBG Program for 2018 💐
I am grateful to have formed some strong working relationships that give me the opportunity to grow and develop the program each year.
This year saw 🥀 35 workshops/talks delivered 🥀 To a total of approximately 1,135 participants
Nothing lights me up more than supporting young women to become empowered, feel good about themselves and to reach their full potential. This is my life's work.

EMPOWERED PARENTING SESSION 💜
It would be unrealistic to expect parents to always be well informed on all areas.
Parents cannot always be experts at giving advice and responding to the needs of their daughters.
The Blossom Guide provides support for parents by putting them at ease, providing up-to-date research on the content their daughters are engaging with. It also provides advice on how to start the conversations, provide support, respond to incidents and where to seek appropriate resources.

Yesterday, I was priviledged to deliver a talk to Year 11's at St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls.
The talk was a contribution to their Wellness Day and focused on Positive Female Sexuality and Respectful Relationships.
It was the perfect time for this discussion coming into summer holidays and a transitional period for the girls 💛

NEW BLOG POST 'WHY WE CANNOT SHAME YOUNG WOMEN'S SEXUALITY'
We are living in a totally different space in 2018 and it is more important now than ever for Parents, Teachers and Youth Workers to support and encourage young womens developing sexualities rather than shaming them or advising what is right or wrong.
Have a read 🤗
I also refer to ScoMo's recent comments on Pamela Anderson 🙈
