Our 300hr in person training starts in August, is limited to 12 people, and runs for 12 months.

“I am steadfast in my approach to delivering 100% in person, in studio training and mentoring. It really is the GOLD STANDARD and yes, personally it is a huge commitment and great energy investment to hold the group for a whole year. My training is not more expensive than other trainings yet offers so much more. I am honestly amazed that people even consider online training if the alternative is available to them.

Not everyone undertakes a yoga teacher training program with the intention of teaching. While some people know absolutely that’s what they want to do, many are driven to dig below the surface of asana classes and deepen their understanding and experience of the whole system of yoga. I also delight in the fact that many people change their mind along the journey and enjoy the experience so much, they feel a strong imperative to share with others after all.

Yoga as science of living, offers a wonderful system to the individual in navigating, and perhaps even healing one’s life. Every individual that can heal themselves then has something to offer others. Our six week Yoga Foundation courses welcomes beginners to yoga or those who are finding their way back to yoga. This holistic form of exercise is for everybody and there are no prerequisites to start. With us by your side, you will discover the incredible physical and psychological benefits of yoga.
Our highly qualified, and compassionate instructors will give you a thorough introduction to yoga that will provide the fundamentals to continue your own yoga journey into any style of yoga you choose. In this introductory beginners course you will be taught the following:

* The foundations of yoga practice such as breathing well and postural alignment.
* A little bit about the history and philosophy of yoga
* Practical techniques to make postures accessible to all body types, and most abilities.
* How regular yoga practice can benefit your physical and psychological health.
Why choose a Beginners Course over a general class?
Especially if you are new to yoga a beginners course has many advantages over simply turning up to an open level class. Each class builds on the skills learnt in the previous class and this means we build the intensity up of the class slowly. So it’s manageable and you can enjoy yourself each class. In a general class there might not be enough opportunity to ask questions. However, because everybody in the course is a beginner, the group dynamic very accepting and comfortable.

Have you met Minna?
Minna joined our faculty upon moving to Australia in 2024.
Minna’s lifelong yoga journey began in Ashtanga Yoga in 2006 having completed foundational training with Maty Eraztu. She has undertaken professional development with Pauli Nevalainen, Hanne Sydanmaa, Petri Räisänen, Frank Kappas, Juha Javanainen, Eddie Stern, Lino Miele, Dylan Bernstein and Chuck Miller to name a few.
With Ashtanga yoga as a foundation Minna has trained in nearly every other style of yoga. In addition, she has as a long list of movement and strength-based training credentials related to her work as a Personal Trainer.
A knowledgeable and creative movement teacher with a wide teaching range across Ashtanga, Yin, Vinyasa & Hatha yoga.
Her classes are synthesis of the diverse skillsets she has mastered over the last 20 years.
Yogahubbers book a class and come and meet Minna - and make her feel welcome. She is stepping in for Courtney this week Tue and Thur 9:15 and 11am.

The Hub of All Things Yoga

Yogahub is a lively hub of all things yoga located in Perth, Australia. We offer classes in Ashtanga, Yin, Iyengar and Vinyasa Yoga.

At Yogahub we are committed to teaching yoga as a philosophy of living and regularly offer courses for curious yogis seeking to deepen their practice beyond asana.

Yogahub is nestled happily in the heart of the urban village of Mount Hawthorn and makes its home in an original ‘sawtooth’ warehouse. The studio has gorgeous sprung wormy chestnut floors, plenty of natural light and greenery. We are conveniently located to suburbs in the City of Vincent such as North Perth, Leederville and Mount Lawley and Yogahub neighbours the beach suburbs of Scarborough and Doubleview . Since opening in 2015 Yogahub has also become a popular yoga destination for those commuting from the northern suburbs seeking to practice yoga before or after work.
