Looking for an alternative to the traditional packed sandwich that provides a sustained release of energy to fuel your body?

A great gluten-free option with a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and beneficial fats is the rice paper roll.

So versatile, you can add your favourite veggies, protein, and herbs to mix it up!

For an active day, you may need 2 serves, or add some fruit and nuts.. these can also be a great grab and go snack if you are travelling between school and class.

Did I mention they are delicious?

I have always believed nutrition should be an essential part of dance training, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and stages to set them up for their future.

Nutritional Medicine

Many people including myself believe in taking a holistic approach to nutrition. Holistic nutrition involves treating the whole person and includes all aspects of their being including their environment, sleep quality, stress levels, mental and emotional well being, and of course the diet. It is amazing how all these components are closely intertwined and how dietary changes may have a large impact of the quality of life. Everyone is unique, otherwise we would all look and feel the same! This means that everyone’s nutritional requirements are unique too.

Nutrition should be simple, convenient and effective. This does not mean that well all need to be a Master Chef in the kitchen, and I certainly don’t want to spend hours each day preparing meals. Part of developing a nutrition plan is incorporating changes into your current lifestyle.
