As we acknowledge and celebrate International Women’s Day I pay my respects to all the women who did not survive what they went through because they are women!
I also pay my respects to the women who have paved the way for us regardless of what it took, for them to stand for us all!
I acknowledge my mother a woman of strength and courage and determination and dignity 💜.
I have been inspired by many women, aunties and grandmothers growing up in Zim 🇿🇼.
As I stand today, as a survivor of family, domestic and sexual violence and abuse 💜. I can only hope and pray that every women who will hear of me and or meet me will be encouraged to fight the good fight of faith (of what they believe they deserve)! Never for one moment did I ever believe that I was worthy of abuse and violence! Not once! Even as years passed, I was still believing and hoping for better! Now I live my best life regardless of all the injustices and overlooking! I am still hoping and believing for the bestest 💜.
She is clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her son arises and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Love Always
