Congrats to all running people this weekend, It started nice but got hot and hard real quick! Had to keep track of pace and HR to modify effort along the way. ASK A PHYSIO 📢 WHEN CAN I STOP DOING MY EXERCISES?

Generally, you shouldn’t stop doing your exercises until you’re back to full strength after your injury, and even then it’s a good idea to keep going!

But don’t just keep doing the same thing... Chances are your exercises will become much easier over time, so it’s important to ensure you are progressively increasing your goals in line with your abilities.

Once an exercise is too easy, look at adding some more resistance or varying it in another way to make it more challenging. Make sure you do this carefully, as we don’t want to re-injure!

It’s always a good idea to check in with a physio every now and then to make sure you’re challenging yourself the right amount.

So, really, while you can stop your exercises after a full recovery, why not keep going and get stronger! Book an appointment with one of our physios via our bio ⬆️⬆️

BoneFIT is our new physiotherapist-designed and led exercise class focused on improving bone health, strength and overall well-being.

BoneFIT is designed for the those at risk or with osteoporosis, including those over 50 (particularly women) and anyone with a family history or deficiency in Vitamin D. The program consists of one class weekly for 10 weeks.
