It’s always an honour to support people on their journey and witness the shifts that can happen when the body has the space to release what it’s been carrying.

Thank you for the kind words — feedback like this truly means the world. 🤍

Just like many of you, I’m in that stage of life where the juggle is real.

Overall, I’m pretty good with my self care. Meditation. Strength training. Yoga. Downtime. The little rituals that help me stay grounded and present.

Last week, was one of those weeks.

A short week thanks to the public holiday, mountains of washing after a camping trip, kids’ activities and a school carnival… and somehow all the things that usually support me quietly slipped away.

And then… hello cold sore.

And it got me reflecting on something I see so often — both in myself and in others.

Why is it that the first thing we drop when life gets busy is the very thing that keeps us resourced?

The meditation.
The breathing.
The movement.
The pause.
The moments that help regulate our nervous system and bring us back to ourselves.

Often the times we feel too busy for self-care are the times we actually need it the most.

This week I’ve gently come back to the basics.

So if like me, you've fallen off the self-care wagon, that's ok. Tomorrow is always a new day.

Did you know your subconscious mind is responsible for around 90% of your thoughts and behaviours?

It’s like being in the driver’s seat of your life, believing you’re in control — while a quiet backseat passenger is actually directing the route. That passenger is your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious stores memories, emotions, beliefs, experiences and past stress. Over time these create an internal “rule book” that shapes how you react, feel and show up each day.

Maybe you learned you had to work hard to be loved, be the “good one” to stay safe, keep the peace instead of speaking up, or stay in control to feel secure. Those patterns can continue running in the background, even when your logical mind knows better.

This isn’t because they’re true — it’s because they once felt safe and familiar to your brain.

Kinesiology helps bring subconscious patterns into awareness so they can be processed and released. As stress layers clear, new beliefs and responses can begin to form.

If you’re curious about what programming might be running beneath the surface, DM me to learn more.

Many women become experts at holding everything together.

The home.
The work responsibilities.
The relationships.
The social calendar.
The never-ending life admin.

From the outside, it can look like everything is under control.

But behind the scenes, the nervous system may be running in constant “go mode” — juggling responsibilities and pushing through fatigue or overwhelm just to keep everything moving.

Over time, that pressure doesn’t simply disappear.

It can show up as anxiety, exhaustion, brain fog, tension in the body, poor sleep, or a general sense of feeling out of balance.

Sometimes the answer isn’t doing more or trying harder - it’s about creating the space to understand what your body has been carrying — and allowing it the opportunity to process and release that stored stress.

Kinesiology works with the mind-body connection to gently explore these deeper patterns and support the nervous system back toward balance.

Because the woman who holds everything together deserves support too.

Sometimes we’re tested not to reveal our weaknesses —
but to uncover our strengths.
— Inspired by Zig Ziglar

Life has a way of placing us in moments we didn’t ask for.
Moments that stretch us.
Unsettle us.
Invite us into discomfort.

And while it may not feel like it at the time, these moments aren’t always here to highlight what we lack —
they often illuminate what we already carry within.

Resilience.
Adaptability.
Courage.

Strength isn’t always loud or obvious.
Sometimes it’s quiet — showing up as persistence, softness, or simply continuing forward when things feel uncertain.

Growth rarely announces itself.
It unfolds through experience, reflection, and self-discovery.

You may not always see it in the moment —
but more often than not, what challenges you is also shaping you.

And sometimes, the strength you discover was never something you had to build —
only something you needed to recognise.

And if you need help recognising all the amazing things, that make you, you; consider reshaping your subconscious programming through kinesiology.

Life can feel overwhelming when emotions start to take over. Anxiety, fear, frustration, sadness, or self-doubt can leave you feeling stuck, unmotivated, or even sabotaging your own happiness. Kinesiology works with your body’s natural energy systems to gently release stored tension, shift limiting beliefs, and help restore emotional balance.

Whether it’s overthinking, blocked happiness, unresolved grief, or patterns of avoidance, kinesiology supports you in uncovering and releasing what’s holding you back—so you can feel lighter, more aligned, and connected to your inner calm.

If you’re ready to step into greater emotional freedom, book a session today and start your journey toward balance and wellbeing -> www.evolvedmindbody.com.au

Wondering what a kinesiology session feels like afterwards?

Everyone responds differently. Many people notice feeling lighter, calmer, and a greater sense of clarity. It’s common to experience reduced tension, eased physical discomfort, and a calmer mind. Kinesiology works by gently supporting your body and nervous system to realign, helping you release what no longer serves you—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Sometimes you may feel a little tired or notice temporary flare-ups in symptoms as your body adjusts. This is completely normal. The shifts from a session often continue for a few days afterward, so giving yourself rest, drinking plenty of water, and allowing time for integration can enhance the benefits.

Kinesiology is a gentle process that helps you reconnect with your body, uncover blocks, and find balance. Each session can leave you feeling more in tune with yourself, with a lighter mind, a calmer body, and a clearer perspective on what you need to move forward.

Your nervous system is like the control center of your body — when it’s out of balance, it doesn’t always look the same for everyone.

Some people might feel constantly anxious, on edge, or restless.
Others might experience fatigue, brain fog, or a sense of disconnection.
Some notice chronic body pain, tension, or flare-ups of long-standing health issues.
Some might feel irritable or have unpredictable emotional swings.
Some might even feel nothing at all — numb, shut down, or “stuck.”

The key? There’s no one-size-fits-all response. Your body is speaking its own language, and learning to tune in is the first step toward calm, clarity, and balance.

💡 Tip: Notice your patterns, respect your limits, and consider gentle tools like breathwork, movement, somatic work or kinesiology to help your nervous system find ease.

✨ Kinesiology can support your nervous system by identifying where it’s stuck and guiding your body back toward balance, helping both physical discomfort and emotional overwhelm ease over time.
