Supported by MIPS and UWA Student Guild This WA Medical Students Orchestra was founded in 2012. This orchestra seeks to combine our passion for music with medicine, with weekly rehearsal and concerts to raise money for charities. Our rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesdays at Callaway Auditorium from 7pm, with a final charity concert at the end of the year. We have an amazing repertoire and enthusiastic conductors and would love to see any students with an interest in medicine and music there. If anyone is interested in joining please email us at medicalstudentsorchestra@gmail.com and we'll email you an application form. There are no auditions, everyone is welcome.

⏰ WAMSO's first rehearsal of the year is just 3 days away! Join us for a fun night of meeting new friends, bonding and making music after this long weekend! 🎶🍕 NO auditions are required, NO need to be a medical student or UWA student. Come try out the orchestra led by our wonderful conductor, Jet Kye Chong!

Looking for a fun way to unwind after class and sing with a lovely bunch of people?

Choir Cantori is back and we’re welcoming new voices!
We’re a student-led contemporary choir that performs with WAMSO, and we’re open to all students, no singing experience needed and no auditions. Just bring your enthusiasm and commitment💛

✨ What we sing: modern, indie & classic pop
🎤 Past covers include artists like Olivia Dean, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, The Cranberries & Billy Joel
🎼 This year’s repertoire will feature some exciting new pieces..
🕕 Rehearsals: Thursdays, 6:00–7:30 pm (starting 29th Jan)

📣 Calling all WAMSO musicians AND anyone interested in joining WAMSO in 2026, we are looking for some enthusiastic individuals to join the Committee! ‼️Sign up form is now open in our bio✨Available roles are Liaison Officer, Marketing Officer and Ordinary Committee Member. ⏰ Generally, commitment includes one meeting a month, and more active tasks one to two months leading up to concerts. Otherwise the following roles are very ad-hoc in nature. Please send us a DM or email if you have any questions regarding time commitment and what the roles entail! ☺️
