GLAM SQUAD VS. CURRENT REALITY. Currently in bed nursing a pretty cute hangover 🙈🙊 YEP! I just can’t say no to a chilli margarita (or 5)🌶 😅 Had the best weekend with my faves and loved letting my hair down and getting silly for my Birthday! 😜 It’s OFFICIALLY the last year of my 20’s... I wonder what this next 12 months will bring 🤔🤔🤔 If it was up to my mum it would be... SMALL SHIFTS MAKE BIG CHANGE 🏋🏻‍♂️💫
Make this your daily mantra! There is no need to constantly try to figure everything out in one day, give yourself permission to slooooww down.

Creating healthy long term habits from minor shifts is far more viable than trying to make drastic changes that perhaps only last a few weeks, or maybe only days!!

When it comes to your health, focus on the things you can introduce into to your day rather than getting hung up on what you think you “need to stop”. So instead of telling yourself “ok, no chocolate or lollies this week!!”, start by having a piece of fruit everyday and you make that your non-negotiable. Instead of driving to work and parking close to the building, perhaps you park your car a little farther away so you can walk a few more steps.

It’s about creating little bursts of goodness into your day, every day, and building on that as you go along. When you try and push 70 things at once - a new diet, a new gym regime, promising to meditate daily, booking in yoga once a week - you will burn out and be less inclined to want to make changes at all.

Creating a healthy lifestyle should be just that - a lifestyle. It isn’t about quick fixes and going from 0-100 real quick. Instead, find something small you can do daily that is of a positive nature and makes you feel GOOD!

3 SIMPLE MINDSET SHIFTS 💡 to get you feeling more positive and clear going into the week!

1️⃣ Play witness to your thoughts for one whole day! Don’t do anything about them, just notice them as they come up. Once you begin doing this daily, you begin to workout what situations trigger certain thoughts. P.S. Write them down! 📝 This way you’ll notice a pattern
2️⃣ Change your negative thought to a positive one. Instead of “why does this keep happening to me!?”, you could try “what is this current situation trying to show me about myself?”.
3️⃣ Spend one whole day acknowledging what you HAVE in your life instead of focusing on what you feel you don’t have. Like attracts like, the more you feel grateful about what you already have, you send powerful messages out to the universe that will come back ten fold!

SWINGIN’ INTO THE WEEKEND LIKE 🤪 Sooo stoked to be down south with my love 🥰 Somethin’ about the air down here, it’s just different! I feel different!

We just had a lovely breakfast with friends and now we are heading to check out some wineries and see where the day takes us 💕.

Tonight we have a booking at our fave which has been our go to for years! A gorgeous little wine bar and modern Australian dining that is all of the amazing-ness! 🤤🤤.

Is there anywhere we should check out while we are down here!? We love a good recommendation 🙌🏻

THROWBACK THURSDAY ✨💫
The girl on the left was insecure, unhappy and exercising based on the latest trends. The girl on the right learnt how to exercise in ways that would not only support her physical strength but emotional too!
I remember so long ago, when I first started out at the gym (11 years ago) I would go hard on the cardio and basically eat whatever the F I wanted because “genes”. I wasn’t happy at all, wasn’t seeing the results I wanted (to be stronger and develop lean muscle mass) and overall just felt so confused whenever I walked into the gym. I would google work-outs for “lean legs” and then get sh*tty if I didn’t see the results after a few weeks (lol 😂).

Fast forward and I’ve learnt so much about exercise and nutrition and how it can literally transform your life - when done correctly. There is SO much information out there in today’s world, if I wasn’t as educated as I am around it, I would be mortified walking into the fitness world for the first time right now!

To me it’s all about bringing it back to basics, not over-complicating things. Consistency, patience and dedication are the three fundamentals I LIVE by and if you’re mindset is set to sabotage over success it can be so hard to stay on track and remain focused.

Learning these key fundamentals really set the tone for my own self development and inner growth, they are basically universal tools for life!

It’s that time of the week again 🙌🏻 The weekend gone was FULL ON. Full of so many laughs, love and all of the fun 🥳 My cup is so full going into the week ahead and I’m reaaaady to smash it. Whenever I have a big weekend I like to encourage a little bit of slowness into the week ahead, going at my own pace and trying to remain as present as I can ✨.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ This week I’m working on my new website which includes a couple of new services to fall under My Well Project that I am super excited about! I’ve definitely noticed how much of a perfectionist I am though and how long some things can take! Both a blessing and a curse because I have to remind myself that NOTHING IS PERFECT 💫.

I am also juggling my little side hustle with my day job! (Perhaps something you may not know about me) So if I don’t have structure and a fluent plan in place, I can feel seriously over whelmed. IT’S ALL ABOUT BALANCE BABY⚡️.

Come Friday it’s a little weekend getaway to the south-west with my love for an early birthday celebration (I’m 29 next week! 💖)

So, on that note - Monday, let’s do this!!! I hope everyone can create a little balance for the week ahead, it’s honestly how I stay grounded🙏🏻.

I TURN INWARD FOR MY ANSWERS 💫 This is currently my daily mantra.

Far too often we rely on our own strength to make our decisions and deny the support of our spirit to guide us forward. Think about those little nudges we may receive throughout our day, that voice that says “nah sis, I don’t think so!” or the consistent signs we see that we totally ignore... This is our guidance. Sometimes our answers come up in completely different ways but the art to receiving them is to be still, release control and surrender to what you think you need to do.

The universe has a plan for you, far greater than that you’ve made on your own. Trust that the answers you seek are within you and spend each day relaxing and releasing. Notice yourself when you’re manic manifesting or trying to control a certain situation, call yourself out and make the conscious decision to release the reigns. Take a deep breath and relax into the moment. Right now I repeat, “thank you spirit, for revealing to me the answers of the highest good”. And your prayer can be whatever you want it to be but it’s to help bring you inward!

I’d love to know, will you be turning inward for your answers? 💫

Lose the scales ⚖️ please! I want you to scroll right ➡️ Take a long hard look at each of my clients. Every one of these ladies are averaging the same weight on the scales but have obvious body changes. If you are obsessively looking at the scales daily, you are completely disregarding the improvements you’re making based on a NUMBER. A. Number.

I weighed my self last Monday for sh*ts and giggles and then weighed myself literally the NEXT DAY, and I was 2 kilos heavier. I had my period. Women change, we fluctuate, we have hormones, water retention that comes and goes during different phases of our cycles. Please keep this in mind before you think you aren’t making lead way on your fitness goals. You are!

Going forward, I want you to stop looking at the scales and start taking before and after shots. It is the ONLY way to successfully monitor body changes, aside from using a caliper to measure body % fat - which I highly recommend also 😌

Ok, so now that we have that cleared up! Who is hiding or CHUCKING away their scales today!? Gimme a “YES!” in the comments 🙌🏻 If you have an unhealthy relationship with your scales and you’re letting it dictate how you feel about yourself then that is a sure sign they gotta go sis! You are so much more than a god damn number on the scales 💕🤗 @ Perth, Western Australia

ARE YOU STILL HAVING FUN? 🥳 A question I really want you to ask yourself. I listened to a wonderful podcast via the I am apart of with and she explained how sometimes we tend to not celebrate the journey we’re on until we reach our specific goal, achievement, credential or financial attainment.

Feeling good, in anything we do is the first and in my eyes the only way to really manifest our hopes and desires. When we don’t feel good, are not having fun, not feeling joyful in our day-to-day life we bring to us a lot of lack. So, with that in mind and if feeling good holds the key to a life of love and fulfilment, how come we associate “making it” with the finality? Have we not already “made it”, if we are having fun and feeling good!?

If you’re genuinely feeling good about the journey you’re on, regardless of how close you are to obtaining a goal then be proud of that! CELEBRATE that! If you’re currently questioning whether you should keep on the path you’re on right now, that perhaps you should give up because you’re not where you thought you would be by now, just ask yourself, am I having fun? If the answer is yes, keep moving forward! Keep going. YOU’VE MADE IT! Living in this state is only going to bring more goodness to you and slowly overtime you’ll be less focused on the end prize but the journey itself and how amazing it is 💖
