"Mogs 4 Minds - From warfare to welfare" provides a range of services to those in Perth WA as well as to those in harder-to-reach places and remote communities (it is a Unimog after all). These services include:
- Fun display for kids (and kids at heart) at public or private events of any size
- Lifeskills and mentoring workshops centered on raising awareness around mental health (completely outdoors and away from screens)
- Individual/group fitness boot-camp
- Sports psychology and mindfulness sessions for local teams
- Off-road driving experiences and knowledge-sharing
- It is a truck, so we can always lend a hand to help move big things! We are also open to more novel uses such as weddings (yes, it happens), birthdays, stargazing, visits to aged care or other facilities, and anything else you may wish to discuss. Our leading facilitator has a background that includes:
- A psychology degree, diploma in security and risk management and a certificate iv in work health and safety
- Decade-long military career as a driver, including as a military driving instructor
- Extensive coaching and mentoring career at community and club sports
- Learning and engagement roles at premier organisations such as Scitech, Perth Zoo and WA Museum Boola Bardip (Visitor Services Officer). We will also be donating a percentage of every sale to ex-service organisations that do great work in their space. Alternatively we can contribute to a charity of your choosing.
