Happy New Year! Resuming again from 10 Feb -18 June 2026 (break week of 24 March 2026) for weekly Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes with Tanya.
Welcoming back class members and newcomers for:
-A 1 hour weekly class on Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am (In-person at Fremantle PCYC) and/or Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm (by Zoom, Australia only).
-This “All About Balance” class series is based on a research project demonstrating improved confidence with balance and falls reduction: slow, gentle, mindfull movement exploring different components of balance and movement possibilities in various positions in each novel class.
-Most postures and everyday activities require some amount of dynamic balance. These classes are designed to empower adults (of all ages living independently in the community) and to maintain or improve your balance with more confidence and efficiency in everyday life as you grow older, or injury or habits have restricted your movements.
-Additional general reported benefits of ATM classes include improvements in: sense of well-being (e.g. calm), emotional and physical resiliance, attention and thinking, chronic pain and comfort, breathing, coordination, and movement ease and efficiency.
-Casual rate of $25 per class or $120 for each 6-week block. Newcomers $20 to trial your first class.
