I’ll still pop up on here from time to time to share little bits of wisdom and the odd tip…
But honestly? I don’t want to spend hours each week creating content for an app where fear-based messaging is getting louder and getting more traction than coaches who genuinely want to help.
It’s really disheartening.

And I also don’t want to wasting time on something make me feel more disconnected than CONNECTED. Instead I’ll be spending more time inside my free community running group Reset & Run and showing up every week in my newsletter.
I’d much rather pour that energy into my clients and helping people rather than support the scroll.

Maybe this will come back to bite me on the bum. Maybe business will dip a little. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️
But nothing great ever comes from staying in your comfort zone and sometimes you have to try something different and back yourself.

If you enjoy my content and want to stay connected, I’d love to have you in my newsletter. Drop a 📧 below and I’ll message you to grab your email - your support means a lot 🩷.

Often we get so caught up in calories and “being good” that we forget food is so much more than numbers.
It’s enjoyment.
It’s celebration.
It’s connection.
It’s joy.

You don’t need to feel bad for enjoying food.
Because there is no bad food and the moment you label something as good vs bad, healthy vs unhealthy, “I shouldn’t have this,” or “just a slither” you create guilt where it never needed to exist. ❌

Research shows that people who adopt a more flexible approach to eating rather than rigid rules have far more success with long-term weight management.

We are not robots.
We’re humans.
And we deserve to be part of the celebration not sitting on the sidelines stressing about calories while our kids watch.

I don’t want my kids to see me fear food.
I want them to learn balance.
I want them to see joy.

And the funny thing is the more you restrict something, the more power it has.
But when you allow it, include it, and stop putting foods on a pedestal it loses the pull.
You get to choose it or not choose it — without the mental battle.

That’s food neutrality and that’s what I want my kids to grow up witnessing and building.

Are setting the right kind of goals?

So many mums start exercising because they want to lose weight, but if you ever done this you will know that kind of motivation only lasts so long.

When the scales stall or life gets chaotic (and, it will), it’s easy to lose that drive to keep going.

But when you train with intention and a performance goal in mind— whether that’s to get stronger, fitter, faster, it changes how you show up to do it.

You stop viewing exercise as punishment for what you ate, or something you ‘need’ to do and it become something you ‘WANT’ to do.

Loved getting this text because it really does make all the difference to how easy it is to do. Love to hear any performance based goals you have below?

You can workout 7 days a week but if you’re not paying attention to your nutrition and daily habits, you’re missing out a n some many results and likely to end up feeling disheartened by the lack of results.

Yes exercise can help support your body and build muscle but if you aren’t giving it the fuel it need post exercise via protien intake you aren’t maximise the workout — it also matters what you do in the other 23 hours rather than just focusing on the workout being ‘enough’ - it’s not.

Sleep.Protein.Fibre.Steps.Stress management. These are the real things that will make difference but they’re also the bits most people don’t want to change because they are hard.

However, if want to stop spinning your wheels and actually feel and see the results of your effort, focusing on the biggest things that are going to make a difference to your results and how you FEEL come and join thrive in 6.

‼️Doors to Thrive in 6 close 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) — so this is the last chance to join before they shut. 2 X spots left.

Some thoughts as we head into November. Birthday month for both my babies.

This year marks 5 years of being a mum.
Being a mum is my greatest accomplishment but also my biggest growth and learnings.

Caring for your health as a mum isn’t easy.
We definitely don’t all have the same 24 hours in a day.
Sure, the clock says we do - but our energy, support, finances, lifestyle, and even our kids’ temperaments? All completely different and that massively impacts how “easy” it feels to care for yourself.

Thrive in 6 is honestly the program I needed when I first became a mum.
It’s everything I’ve learnt (and continue to learn) about how to actually make health and wellbeing work when you’re juggling it all.

Am I perfect? Nope.
Do I nail it every day? Also nope.

But what I have learnt over the past 5 years is you don’t need to.
It’s about imperfect action and focusing on what you can do:
✨ A short workout
🥦 Adding colour to your plate
🚶‍♀️ Getting out for fresh air
💧 Staying hydrated

These small things matter more than you think and they change how you feel, your energy, and how you show up as a mum.

There are just 2 spots left for Thrive in 6, we kick off Monday.
If you’re ready to feel more like you again, I’d love for you to join me. DM me to secure your spot. 💛

You’ve probably spent years trying to hate yourself into change.

We think if we criticise ourselves enough, it’ll somehow motivate us to do better.
But lasting change doesn’t come from punishment it actually comes from compassion, consistency, and learning to work with yourself, not against yourself.

If you’ve spent years (or even decades, like I once did) believing that being hard on yourself will push you forward, you’re setting yourself up for a long, unenjoyable journey.

Creating a healthy lifestyle isn’t always easy. And yes, it takes effort and sometimes a little discomfort — but it should feel like it’s for the greater good. You should finish each day feeling better, not worse.

If you’re ready to start creating change from a place of self-respect instead of self-criticism, Thrive in 6 kicks off next Monday November 3rd.
✨ 3 spots left - DM me for more info

Between work, kids, life admin and trying to keep on top of the house work it’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and forget to slow down long enough to notice what actually makes us smile.

I’ve been trying recently to pay more attention to the micro moments. The little things across the week that make me smile.

We can often spend time wishing weeks away to get to Xmas or our next holiday or X, without noticing the little things can get fill up our cups.

For me this could me laughing with the kids, my morning coffee my husband makes me every morning 🙌🏻, a walk in the sunshine, dipping my toes in the ocean, a workout in peace, or sitting down and enjoying a book.

Here are some of my micro moments of joy this week, the last slide made me chuckle. 😂

Happiness doesn’t need to be found in the big gestures or events but in the small, ordinary moments that happen every day that can often go unnoticed.

What’s one micro moment that made you smile this week? Share it below 👇

I’ve always been open about sharing my experience with poor body image because it a huge part of what I do now and my passion for helping others who struggle.

Because hating my body robbed so many years of my life. Believing it wasn’t good enough - it was me vs my body.

Now as a mum it’s so important that I role model to my kids how to speak and treat their own.

And whilst things like not calling food good vs bad, not putting certain food on a pedestals, ll seems insignificant in isolation it can make a difference - allowing my kids to trust their hunger cues, speaking to them about what they body does and how amazing it is and doing my best to keep food as neutral as possible.

Growing up in the 90’s diet culture was huge and so even though I didn’t grow up in a household where dieting was a focusing, I was still impacted by it.

How we speak about food, bodies (ours and others) and our views on exercise matter.

This morning a client who I’ve been working with the past year shared how much her mindset has changed since working together.

How she now views food. Her views on exercise. How she nourishes her body.

And honestly it’s these stories that make what I do mean so much because if her relationship with her body, food and exercise the way her 2 X boys see their will also hopefully be positively impacted.

It’s a ripple effect and it starts with us. 🩷

No judgment or shame - just kindness, compassion and care.
