📄 Final reflection on radical remission research.

We often focus on the physical terrain —
nutrition, toxins, labs.

But there’s another layer:

Emotional terrain.

In other words, It’s not always what people add…
but what they stop tolerating.

🫥 Unspoken truths.
🫥 People-pleasing.
🫥 Chronic emotional stress.
🫥 Weak or absent boundaries.

These patterns shape the terrain just as much as food or toxins.

The body keeps score of what the mind tries to ignore.

Educational only. Not medical advice.

Radical remission doesn’t follow a recipe. But it does reveal patterns.

The biggest takeaway?
Healing is rarely one-dimensional.

🤍 Food matters.
🤍 Stress matters.
🤍 Support matters.
🤍 Meaning matters.

🤍 Book worth reading

📖 Radical Remission explores recurring patterns seen in people who improved beyond expectations – without promising outcomes or dismissing conventional care.

It’s thoughtful, balanced, and grounded in real stories.

☝️ Not a rulebook.
More an invitation to ask better questions about healing, agency, and terrain.

Worth reading :)

Educational content only. Not medical advice.

🪱Parasites!

Online, the conversation often swings between two extremes:
👉 either parasites are dismissed entirely, or
👉 they’re blamed for nearly every symptom.

The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

☝️One thing is for sure!
When the terrain is strong, many microbes simply don’t gain a foothold.

📚 While I’m still a little way away from being able to work with you directly, comprehensive stool tests are already accessible online through practitioner platforms.

These tests can provide valuable insight into the ecosystem of the gut and help uncover the root cause behind symptoms.

A comprehensive stool test should tell you the following:

✔️ parasites
✔️ bacterial overgrowth / imbalance
✔️ H. pylori
✔️ occult blood
✔️ yeast

(Note: yeast is often included in stool testing but may not always be reliably detected. If fungal or yeast overgrowth is suspected, other testing can sometimes provide better insight. More on this coming soon).

Also, I’ll share more on parasite protocols soon.

Many products marketed for parasites are often incomplete. They may target adult parasites but not eggs, or fail to reach them because parasites can form protective biofilms.

Effective protocols usually require a more comprehensive strategy.

Symptoms don’t appear out of nowhere — they follow patterns.

When you learn to decode what the body is saying, the picture starts to make sense.

• fatigue
• skin issues
• gut problems
• brain fog
• hormone imbalance

These are not the problem.
They’re signals.

And once you understand the pattern, you can begin to change the outcome.

⚡️Every healthy cell maintains an electrical charge across its membrane — often around −70 millivolts. This tiny voltage helps regulate how nutrients move into cells, how waste is removed, how cells communicate, and how energy is produced.

Inside the cell, mitochondria maintain an even stronger electrical gradient (roughly −150 to −180 mV) that powers the production of ATP — the energy currency of life.

Without these electrical gradients, cells struggle to produce energy efficiently.

Some researchers and integrative physicians have explored the idea that illness may involve a loss of cellular energy or electrical signalling. One example is the work of Jerry Tennant, who proposed an electrical model of health in his book Healing Is Voltage.

While not all aspects of this model are universally accepted, it raises an interesting question:

If healthy cells depend on electrical gradients…
how much of healing involves restoring the body’s energy systems?

At FIHA we look at the terrain — the internal environment that supports healthy cellular function.
Things like:

• nutrient status
• toxin load
• mineral balance
• mitochondrial health
• inflammation and stress

Many of these factors can be explored through functional medicine testing rather than guesswork.

Because when we understand the terrain, we gain clues about why the body may be struggling — and how to support it.

Curiosity is where many discoveries begin.

Detox isn’t just about removing.
It’s about how well the body can eliminate.
🚽🫁🥵

When drainage pathways are sluggish — whether through constipation, impaired bile flow, or stagnant lymphatic circulation — the body may struggle to efficiently process and excrete unwanted compounds.

And that’s often when people say:

“I tried detox… and felt worse.”

Because before we push detoxification,
we need to support drainage.

Drainage first. Detox second.

The body is constantly communicating.

Symptoms are not the enemy.
They’re information.

Instead of asking
“how do I silence this symptom?”

A better question is:

“What is my body asking me to change?”

That shift in perspective is where true healing begins.

💊 If you’re reaching for naproxen every month for period pain…
or Panadol for headaches… or
☕️ coffee just to function… or
🍷 wine to finally relax…

Pause.

Relief isn’t the same as resolution.

Pain, fatigue, bloating, mood swings — they’re feedback.

🔻Inflammation.
🔻Hormonal shifts.
🔻Mineral depletion.
🔻Stress overload.
🔻Blood sugar instability.

🔄 Ignore the cause → the pattern repeats.
🔁 Address the terrain → the pattern changes.

This is where real healing begins.

📚 Great read!

Exploring my own patterns through exercises like the Core Language Approach and uncovering my core sentence was very insightful.

A powerful reminder that behind many physical & emotional symptoms.... there’s often a deeper story.

Great teachers remind us that our history doesn’t stay behind us - what sits unresolved in the past often echoes into the present.

This book is for you if...

You can’t explain your fears, reactions, recurring patterns... This book may offer a perspective you’ve never considered.
