Culture, connection, and a whole lot of joy!
Our incredible Kiribati and Fijian carers recently took centre stage as part of Cultural Day at one of our partner facilities - sharing music, dance and traditions from their homelands.
The energy was electric and the smiles said it all. Residents, staff and visitors alike were absolutely delighted.
Moments like these remind us how powerful cultural diversity can be in creating not just care, but community. 💙

Three of our amazing carers have recently swapped the coastline for the outback, taking on new roles in Mount Isa. From palm trees to red dirt, it’s a dramatic change of scenery, but each one is embracing the chance to experience a different side of Australia while continuing the incredible work they do.

What’s driving demand for psychiatrists in Australia?
Mental health needs are growing, and changing.
From rising rates of anxiety and trauma, to a significant increase in adult ADHD diagnoses, psychiatrists are managing more complex presentations than ever before.
Hospitals, clinics and community services are actively seeking skilled psychiatrists who can provide not just treatment, but long-term, compassionate care.
If you're a psychiatrist considering your next step - or even a move to Australia - our team would love to support your journey.

Australia’s healthcare workforce is overwhelmingly female, but what if we celebrated the men who choose to care?
Men make up about 12 per cent of Australia’s nursing workforce, a number climbing slowly as stereotypes begin to break down.
This year’s theme for International Men's Day in Australia is “Supporting Men and Boys”, a call to build environments where men are encouraged to care, lead, and belong.
So today, we honour the men who:
* pursue nursing or aged‑care roles in professions traditionally viewed as ‘female’
* challenge stigma by saying “yes, I care”
* act as role models for rural youth or second‑career entrants, making change real in regional Australia
To the men in our PALM placements, aged care, hospital wards and support roles, you matter. You improve gender equity in care and help reshape a more inclusive health workforce.
Tag a male carer or nurse who inspires you.

At the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, we pause to remember.
Today we honour the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who served, and continue to serve, in defence of Australia and New Zealand.
Lest we forget.

Let’s talk AHPRA.
It’s the first step to working as a nurse, doctor or allied health professional in Australia, but it’s also one of the biggest pain points.
So what is AHPRA?
✅ It’s the body that manages your registration
✅ You need it before you can start work
✅ It can take months without support
We’ve helped plenty of nurses and GPs get their AHPRA sorted, with less stress and fewer delays.

Our story began in 2008 when we set out to solve nursing shortages across regional and remote Australia. We saw a desperate need for experienced nurses in these areas without the talent pool available in Australia. So, we set about attracting and employing highly skilled nurses from overseas, to build long term nursing capacity within these regions.
10 years on, the success of our nursing solutions and our strong international reputation as an Australian nursing employer, has seen HealthX expand to the United Kingdom, opening our London office in 2018.
HealthX is not a nursing agency and we are not a recruitment company. We are the proud employer and sponsor of our nurses that provide long term and sustainable nursing care for our client organisations.
HealthX also employs a team of highly experienced contract nurses to support our clients and nurses during interim periods of needs.
We pride ourselves on being the employer of choice. As we strive to provide a supportive environment for our excellent, highly skilled employees. HealthX is caring, helpful, contactable, fast and efficient.
