Ideally you will hold Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker/Sheetmetal or Fitter, and have minimum 5 years experience in a Supervisor/Foreman role. You will demonstrate leadership qualities and people management skills as well as proven success in managing a team in a constantly changing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Attending Production Meetings and scheduling projects to fabrication
• Labour Coordination
• Fabrication design consultation with project managers and factory team leaders
• Quality Assurance Management from materials in, to project out
• Material Take off and Drawing Organisation
• Project Liaison and Meeting deliverable across purchasing and fabrication to ensure client expectations are achieved
• Site and Workshop Deliveries (in/out of workshop)
• Small Order Quotations and management
• Reviewing fabrication actuals to budget in Workbench project management system
• Maintaining a safe work environment (ensuring WHS compliance) and conducting weekly tool box meetings
• Engaging the team in continuous improvement activities, using initiative to drive the business forward
• Ensuring tidy factory, bathrooms and work areas.
• Management of stock levels and scrap levels.
• Management of safety supplies and consumables.

You should have the following:
• Forklift Licence
• 5 years previous experience with team leading and management
• Engineering trade qualified
