Seeds of Hope starts today.

$10 for seeds to bloom into flowers in your garden. Please support us to support victims survivors to heal.

We are a local not for profit charity. We are all volunteers, including our therapeutic team. We believe victim survivors are worthy of top class support, regardless of their socio-economic status. Everything we offer is no cost to victim survivors.

Initiatives like Seeds of Hope enable us to continue to do this, this way.

Spring has sprung and what better time to launch our latest fundraising campaign:

Our vision for our world is that all people will live a happy and fulfilled life. We believe that this is possible. Our programs support victim survivors of sexual trauma as well as their families.

By purchasing a packet of seeds and planting them in your garden, you are enabling us to continue to support our chrysallites and their families for free.

The healing journey is a process of sowing seeds and nurturing them so that they bloom, similar to the journey of butterfly from caterpillar.

We are a not for profit charity run exclusively by volunteers at every level of our organisation, including our quality therapeutic services, which we run for free.

This mini series, Raising Voices, is on Netflix. It is very confronting and it is activating on many levels with many types of sexual trauma explored.

It is brilliant.

It is Spanish in origin with English dubbed over, quite smoothly for the most part. It finishes where it starts and as a result, the last scene is just so powerful.

It is well worth watching, if you can get through it.

It is sad that in our country we don’t openly talk about sexual trauma and its impact, and the topic, the reality, is still so shrouded in secrecy.

Secrecy that only continues to shame victim survivors.

One day, maybe we will be more comfortable talking about the uncomfortable so that we can protect and support victim survivors.

Here, we are very comfortable talking about the reality and advocating for victim survivors.

I’d like to give a massive shout out to my dear friend, Kylee, who also owns Hair There And Everywhere by Kylee in York Street, Tahmoor.

Kylee and I sat next to each other at a WWIB Leadership Breakfast years ago now, when I was dying my own hair, and explained why I shouldn’t be lol.

I started seeing her at her salon and I’m sure she regretted that conversation. Long blonde dreads, now short brunette dreads, but much healthier for prioritising the care of my hair.

Kylee has done my updos for important occasions since then. And she ALWAYS does an amazing job and I leave feeling and looking beautiful. My hair is always complimented - no easy feat with unruly and often uncooperative dreads.

I did not get a photo with her on Sunday and I’m devastated about that so she’s stuck with me in her life a bit longer 😉

I am sitting here alone at my kitchen table. A few tears. Some overwhelm. Possibly some numbness. Processing today. And the whole thing of the Institute to be honest.

We have been running since the beginning of Covid lockdowns in NSW. Was that 2021? Or 2020? F**k my trauma brain 😉

We have supported a lot of victim survivors and a lot of people just calling for one off advice or to just say what they needed to say out loud.

The High Tea fundraisers for us pay our insurances and cover a few other memberships and small things. All of us are volunteers. All of us work. Except for me, everyone has a family they look out for too. None of us receive a wage and I want that to change. Desperately.

I can’t keep doing what I’m doing for free. I don’t think the others can either.

So, I am very grateful to and for all of the people who came and or bought raffle tickets and or sent apologies and or thought of us today.

I still have a dream that one day we will be completely unnecessary.

I have grown and healed so much. I’m ready for the next phase of my life to begin. I finally realise I’m worthy of everything that I want.

We had a beautiful healing circle last night - accessing our deepest wound through shadow Scorpio. So much symmetry amongst those present. Absolutely beautiful night of vulnerability, connection and peace.

We are in our last days of ticket sales for our second High Tea to be held in the Dharawal Room at Campbelltown Catholic Club from 12 to 3 on Sunday 5.5.24.

Tickets are $99 pp with a small booking fee.

We are a local not for profit charity and we support victim survivors of sexual trauma and their families through the healing and rebuilding phases of recovery for FREE.

It becomes easy to stay where we are for long periods of time. I was listening to Dr Rangan Chatterjee yesterday, and he was talking about how fast time goes and how we become distracted away from the things we enjoy.

Yes! Full Moon Healing Circles.

What is a Full Moon Healing Circle?

Each month there is a full moon, sometimes two, and women gather in circle to share, to laugh, to cry, and to release, all that no longer serves them. It is a sacred, safe space where soul connection and soul healing is prioritised.

And, this year, Kristin from Healing Heart Seeds, will complete each circle with a sacred cacao ceremony.

What is a Sacred Cacao Ceremony?

It is said the longest journey one makes is from the mind to the heart. We spend so much time in our own heads stressing and worrying. The gentle medicine of sacred cacao brings us back to our heart space. Sitting in a sacred chocolate ceremony is a generous gift to yourself that raises your frequency and nourishes your soul with love and serenity.

What a way to end a full moon release.
