Balancing meals 🎄

We all know between Christmas and new years our meals look a little different.

There’s no prepped meals, we’re just picking at left overs.

Your been gifted 5 boxes of chocolate that’s just sitting around the house.

Alcohol is in abundance.

You’ve got time off work after a hard year.

Embrace it! There’s nothing wrong with a more flexible approach, more often this allows for more progression later on, why ?

Less food noice after enjoying the food you want 🍪
Less hunger after satisfying the belly 🥧
Less focus after giving your brain a break from tracking 📊

Use this time to practice your habits, see what you do good and where you come unstuck,
Focus on food pairing

Want that cookie, excellent have a handful of grapes alongside it.

Want that Nutella croissant, delicious, pair it with a yopro for added protein .

Want them chocolate, someone has to eat them, have a protein shake with them.

It’s not about removing everything and setting these restrictions but instead focusing on how you can Improve that meal or snack.

-you won’t be the same once you have a baby

You see…. The fitness industry has taught you to create low calorie this, 30 ingredient that, protein this and chemical that.

We’ve lost the point of food, sustenance.
We no longer focus on quality but solely quantity

What’s wild? If you went back to the basics you’d stop craving these chemical filled, highly processed products that leave you craving more, sh****ng more and spending more.

Back to the basics
• meats (chicken, steak, fish, eggs, lamb)
• carbs (rice, pasta, bread. Quinoa, fruits, vegetables)
• fats (avocado, nuts, seeds, oils)

Dinner with a free show 🎆

Crazy, 6 years ago I’d have chosen the meal with the biggest portion, the entree and the dessert. I’d have smashed every crumb to get my “moneys worth”

Now, I’m enjoying wagyu with the gym family, focusing on protein and the quality of the food rather than the volume of it.

Grateful to be ending 2025 with our 2nd family, watching levi grow this company from the ground up to where we are has been nothing short of amazing.

Sustainable loss, no rushed protocols, prioritising putting the work into the emotional aspect of nutrition rather than solely the fat loss.

Putting the work into the depths of bad habits, the areas that must be tackled for long term results, the s**t we don’t want to acknowledge but need to.

10kg gone yes, but confidence and emotional resilience has been developed also .
