Whilst what we do is out of pure love and passion even we feel guilty when filling the hearse with fuel. Whilst we are encouraged to work from home unfortunately for us this simply isn’t possible ! Something has to be done !!

Funeral directors travel significant distances every day to bring loved ones into care and support families through the funeral process. Reliable access to fuel is essential to ensure these services continue without disruption.

As the peak national body, Funerals Australia is advocating to State and Federal Ministers for funeral services to be recognised as an essential service in any fuel prioritisation arrangements, helping ensure families can continue to receive care when they need it most.

Today is ‘ say there name day ‘. We have had the privilege of looking after so many babies wether they be very early gestation, born sleeping or grew their wings to early. We would love it if you could leave there name so they can be acknowledged and recognised once again ❤️

Beautiful little Theodore or known as Theo was, is the most gorgeous little bundle of love you could hold. Theo came into this world a fighter but sadly he lost his battle and was only with his family for 18 days. Whilst you were with us the sun and the starts still kept shining for you Theo and you had the raindrops gently fall on your perfect soft skin whilst mummy was holding you. Before the celebration of your short lived life I placed you gently into mummy and daddy’s arms for one last cuddle The celebration of your life was hard for everyone Theo but it was soft and gentle and colourful. Butterflies were released afterwards and hopefully they will find you so there gentle wings can lay softly with you. Mummy and daddy are devastated Theo so guide them along the long journey ahead of them and give them some signs that you’re still around ❤️

Grant, a handsome young man came into our care after gaining his wings to soon. Looking after Grant was hard as he was like family to us and had been in our lives since we all made the move to Australia 20 years ago but that we also had had Grants dad in our care 15 months earlier. Grant was cheeky, funny, sometimes loud, mischievous, loved being with his mates but adored his family. He was great at his job, would help anyone out even when sometimes he needed it too. Cars were his passion and even constantly getting new personalised number plates to add to his collection. I hardly ever saw him without wearing a baseball hat so when we were discussing his farewell we knew we had to display some of them and also his number plates ! We had every one come forward to write on his coffin giving everyone a chance to say goodbye in there own individual way. Grant was always promoting Harveys Towing so we had it arranged that some of their trucks would be at the service but also lead and follow us to the cemetery afterwards sling with his mates andtheir cars. Grant you would have loved it but you would proberbly would have thought ‘ bloody hell I’m even being towed to my own funeral ! ‘ Grant the love and emotions that were shown as we all said goodbye to you was immense but you would have loved the joy and happiness that was around everyone too. As you always used to say ‘ she’ll be right ‘ but maybe check in on your family, your two babies but also your brother who is heartbroken. Love you x

Little Ewalisse, a precious bundle of joy, love and happiness. You hid away until mum thought she had a bit of a pot belly and then later on felt you moving ! Ewalisse in the 21 days that you were here on earth side your beautiful face with such soft skin and cute little toes made everyone smile. Sadly on Christmas Eve you softly stepped into where the earth and sky meet and you gained your angel wings. We hope the bubbles everyone blew at the celebration of your life reached you and you were able to softly touch them. Thank you sweetheart for letting me cuddle you but watch over mummy as she is heartbroken without you in her arms 💔

Eilianna-Marie, a fragile little flower that sadly never bloomed. A flower that was made from pure love and loved immensely by her beautiful family. We donated this angel bear of which Eilianna’s ashes can be placed inside and words of love can be written or stitched on the front and mum and dad can still hold her in their own special way. Eilianna wherever you now may be know that mummy and daddy love you so much and that you will have now bloomed beautifully in a garden of love 🌸 x

Michelle, so young to be taken from this world but touched so many lives. A patient, caring, loyal lady but also a straight shooter ! You would have your porridge and a Berroca in the morning but you were also a fantastic chef of which all the food you cooked was made with your heart and love but god forbid if anyone tried to help ! You loved to organise everything but also worried about everyone. You and you handsome man were together for 29 years and been married for 18 and that love was like a rich tapestry weaved together by pure love. He was your fun, love and comfort but who is now lost without you. We invited everyone to come foward and write on your coffin and we then took photos of their special memories of you so he had some magical memories of you through other peoples lives you had impacted. You caused us SO much trouble whilst you were in our care so when I said goodbye I told you to cause trouble on the other side instead !! Doves were released as I drove you away so may you now spread your wings, soar high and wherever you are now watch over your family and protect them with your love. ❤️

A year ago we lost you and our world has never been the same since. You made a big impact on our lives but also life in general. When I’m walking up to feed the cows first thing in the morning I always say ‘ morning love ‘ and today by the feed shed I cried once more like I did when we heard you had gone. I’m sure you’ll be causing havoc somewhere love but just know we all miss you terribly ( but I dont miss your swearing ! 😉) Love you Scott x
