Why I never wear sunglasses in the morning ⬇️

Morning sunlight exposure helps regulates the bodies natural sleep-wake cycle (Circadian Rhythm).

It suppresses melatonin (the sleep hormone) and increases cortisol (which is a good thing first thing!) to make our bodies recognise that it’s time to start the day making us feel energised, awake and alert for the day ahead!

It also helps increase vitamin D production too!

Wearing sunglasses can block some of the essential light so I like to put mine aside for the morning and then once it starts to warm up get them back out again! After all you do need to protect your eyes! 👀

💚A Gentle Reminder to Rest.

No, I mean REALLY rest!

Adrenal Fatigue is caused by stress and you will continue to feel fatigued if the stress doesn't stop and then when you do..... you get sick! 🤧

Living a busy & stressful life often means that unfortunately rest is a luxury so it makes it easy to supplement with Herbs & Vitamins in its place.

While these things are absolutely useful to support your body they are not enough if you continually expose yourself to the stressors that are depleting you in the first place!

Rest shouldn't be a luxury, it should be a necessity!

Add it to your daily to do list!
