Well Within Counselling

Well Within Counselling Counselling is a process of exploring thoughts, feelings & behaviours through conversation.

Well Within Counselling offers generalist counselling and support to children, young people and adults, in the areas of anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, emotional health and wellbeing, adolescent behaviour, parenting strategies, problem solving and goal setting. Counselling is available face-to-face, telephone or online, by appointment only. The Counsellor - Lisa Menzel is a Clinical Member (Reg. 21632) of PACFA (Psychotherapy And Counselling Federation of Australia), a Clinical Supervisor & Author of two children's books. Lisa has worked as a Counsellor for over 20 years in community services, education, local &state government, corporate & private enterprise. Lisa's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts - Youth Affairs, Post-Graduate Diploma & Masters in Human Services - Counselling. Well Within Counselling provides a range of therapy approaches including Person-Centred, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness & Trauma-Informed counselling practices. Well Within Counselling can provide brief or long-term counselling, and provide after hours and Saturday appointments. Private Health Insurance Provider numbers available for Medibank Private, BUPA & Police & Emergency Services Health. Check with your Private Health Insurance provider if you are eligible. Private counselling is an option for clients who do not wish to have a mental health record through the 'Better Access to Mental Health Scheme'.

I'm beyond proud of my amazing friend Isabella and her powerful new children's book, "Love Never Dies". It’s a gentle, heartfelt story that helps kids navigate grief and loss—told through the eyes of a child, with honesty and compassion.

Even more inspiring, she’s created a companion workbook filled with thoughtful worksheets to help children process their grief at their own pace.

She’s truly an inspiration, turning something so difficult to talk about into a beautiful tool for healing. If you know a child who’s experienced loss, "Love Never Dies" could be a comforting light in their journey.
