Lunch with Louise

I love sewing and make a range of tea towels with different things on them. This is one of my little 'cottage' ones. I sell them at Taste of the Country and love making them. I have a sewing space with my two machines, put my noise cancelling headphones, on turned to Netflix on the TV and go off into my own world of creativity. What do you do to relax?

At our last Lunch with Louise cooking class, we made Ricotta Cheese using one of these Fresh Cheese Kits. They have all the equipment that you need, a great recipe sheet and will give you hours of fun in the kitchen. I have the smallest side yard and this year I have put in vege gardens. I have lettuce, cheery tomatoes, cucumbers, sorrel, basil, chives, capsicums, celery and silverbeet all thriving at the moment. It's all organic and it's lovely at the end of a busy day, to go out and forage for my dinner. Do you do the same?

Today I'm working from home with my super secretary Robbie keeping me filled up with lots of cuddles in between jobs. He is my door monitor, toilet break supervisor, kitchen taste tester, meeter, greeter and seater, Slipper collector, TV ju**ie and general good guy. Why did I ever need a partner when I have such a devoted, furry little man so in love with me?
