At DUKE, this isn’t a theoretical discussion.
We are actively working on the development of 32-inch wheels, notably in collaboration with through Project Fahrenheit.

Is it better than 29-inch wheels?
It’s clearly too early to make any universal claim.

What matters to us is the process: testing, measuring, understanding how wheel size impacts dynamics, efficiency and rider feedback — depending on use cases and rider profiles.

A research direction.
Explored seriously.

You can follow trends and always be on par with the riders next to you, or you can be ahead of the curve and hold an advantage until they catch on.

This is what gets me excited about my race wheels this year. I’m working with because they are ahead of the curve on performance gravel wheels. The massive 43mm external rim width on their Bacarra WRX Aero 42 wheelset is, in my opinion, the future of aero gravel wheels. I commend them on taking a giant leap forward instead of making the same slow incremental progress that often plagues the industry. 👊

Also, they just look damn good with this build. 😎

Sunday 28 and Monday 29 July will see the Women's and Men's Cross Country events.

Good luck to our 4 athletes for the Olympics, which will take place on the hill of Élancourt at an altitude of 230m.

Who said steel couldn’t be lightweight ?

Thanks to and their 1040g wheelset we were able to achieve our goal of building a complete bike, with pedals, weighing just 7.2 kg. This bike is fitted with disc brakes (not the lightest braking system) and is size 55 (L). 🪶
