Happy first day of spring 🌻

The change of season is the perfect time to refresh and reasses.
Here are 3 things I plan spring cleaning:
1. The pantry.
Remove out of date products and stale half eaten packets.
Wipe down jars and shelves.
Asses if the food products in there are serving my goals of optimal health.

2. The fridge.
Wipe down shelves, jars, and sauces.
Remove any bad produce or products we didn't like.
Again asses what's in there is it full of fresh abundance.

3. Shoes.
Let's be honest how often do these get washed? Compared to the countless hours worn. All those sweaty runs, walks, and gym sessions.

Welcome to my new series
"SNACK SMARTER"

In this series i will highlight simple food swaps you can make to increase your food volume without increasing calorie density.

Snack 1: 105 calories
By reducing the crackers to a half serve and adding in 200g of fresh veggies we've taken our snack from 25g to 225g in volume while also adding in an abundance of nutrients.

Snack 2: 182 calories
Swapping the nut bar for 3 oreo's and 120g of strawberries takes this snack from 40gs to 150gs while still allowing for that chocolate fix.

Snack 3: 280 calories
Swapping out the dried fruit for fresh fruit increases this snack from 90g to 450g. Opting for the fresh fruit also ensures your getting the water content from your fruit.
