HI I am Olive Jacka from Bali where I have been for 20 years a professional therapeutic Massage Therapist. My style of massage includes Traditional Kaili Massage, a therapeutic style I learned from my healer grandmother in Sulawesi. I combine these techniques with acupressure and deep tissue techniques I have acquired during my 20 years in Bali. I use my hands, arms and elbows for this techniques to assist the circulator and lymphatic process of the body (amongst other) which simultaneously creates a deeply relaxing rhythmical massage experience for my client. I use hot rock to assist with my work as well as a stone acupressure tool when I attent to the pressure points of the feet. Ultimately my aim is to mediate positively the clients relationship with their body and this changing relationship with the process of aging.
I offer a deeper, more therapeutic style for people that are recovering from an injury or have chronic pain. I am very Detailed and focused on the problem area. I think it's important to address all the muscles in the corresponding area for release. I remain very present and have focused listening to my clients body during a massage.
My understanding of the body comimg from my activity as a professional athlete in Martial Art and softball, both of which I represented Indonesian.
I believe self care is fital of maintaining the life you want. It is never one, particular things that fixes you. It take a couple different things to fix you. Like eating right, exercising, and of course massage. When you are doing this things, along with having good attitude, you can feel balanced and comfortable in your body. I want to help you back to having comfort in your movements.
