Christmas is upon us and what a way to celebrate. Last week our residents enjoyed a fantastic Christmas lunch with all the trimmings; were visited by the Santa and his mobile Christmas tree; and were entertained by musicians who performed songs using bells. A fun day was had by all. A huge thank you to our Food Services, Lifestyle, nursing and care staff and the performers for making this such a special day .

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the "Friends of Moyneyana" to afternoon tea yesterday at our Friends' Cafe. Over many years the "Friends of Moyneyana" have raised and donated over $500,000 which has been used to enrich the living environment of our residents. The Friends' Cafe is just one of the projects that they have contributed to. We thank them for their dedication to our service.

Moyne Health Services (MHS) is Victoria’s oldest country hospital. Established in 1849, the hospital originally operated from a four-room cottage at 40 James Street, Belfast (Port Fairy).

Today, it is a multi-million-dollar health service with an impressive history of meeting the health needs of the local community.
