Feeling low, on edge, or just not like yourself can be hard to talk about - but you don’t have to manage it on your own.

Our GPs can support you with mental health concerns such as low mood, anxiety and stress, and can discuss options that may be appropriate for your situation. Sometimes, simply starting the conversation is the most important step.

We’re always grateful when long-term patients share kind feedback about our GPs and reception team.

Spots, moles, and sun damage can be easy to ignore, especially when you see them every day. But changes to your skin are worth paying attention to.

Skin checks are available with our GPs, so if you’ve noticed a new spot, a change in an existing mole, or it’s simply been a while since you last had your skin looked at, it may be time to book in.

Your skin health matters - especially here on the Mid North Coast.

National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) runs from Monday 23 February to Sunday 1 March 2026.

NEDAW is an annual campaign to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope and visibility for everyone who is impacted - individuals, families, friends and communities.

This year’s theme is: Fighting for Change, Committed to Change – Every Body Belongs.

It’s a reminder that eating disorders can affect people of any age, size, gender or background, and that everyone deserves respect, compassion and access to support.

Our reception team are the friendly faces you see and the calm voices you hear when you get in touch with us.

They play an important role in helping our GPs support the community, creating a welcoming, organised space where patients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and serves as an important reminder to pay attention to symptoms that can be easy to overlook.

Things like persistent bloating, changes in appetite, abdominal or pelvic pain, or feeling full quickly can all be worth mentioning to your GP, especially if they’re new, frequent, or unusual for you.

There’s no screening test for ovarian cancer, so knowing your body and speaking up if something doesn’t feel right is important. If you have concerns, you can raise them at your next appointment with your GP.

Today is Primary Health Care Nurses Day, and we think it's an important time to recognise the vital work of nurses who support people outside the hospital system.

From general practice and aged care to schools and community health, primary health care nurses are often the first point of contact in our health system. Their work plays a critical role in prevention, early intervention, and long-term care.

To the nurses in our own team and the more than 104,000 working across Australia, thank you for everything you do.
