We are just two halves of a whole idiot 😅

He’s the logical one..
I’m the “let’s just do it and see what happens” one 🤷‍♀️

Dylan is the other half of the brain..🧠
And my emotional support human..🖤

And somehow between the chaos… it works

But the funny part is
this whole thing didn’t start the way you’d think

Dylan was actually my first ever customer

Before there was a shop
before there was a name
before The Witchy Nook was even a thought

🔮I was just selling a few crystals on Marketplace..
testing the waters

And he showed up at my door

We still joke he slid into my DMs
but… professionally

✨ And then he just… kept showing up

Every market
every pop up
every “I’ve got an idea” phase

During COVID
he’d come by the house to pick up crystals…which are still displayed in his living room 🥹

He was there for my first shop
the stalls
the DIY everything

And when I said I wanted this shop…
He looked at me like I had absolutely lost it 😅

(he had seen the space… and could not see what was in my head at all)

But he stayed anyway

And somehow
what started as one small sale
turned into this whole life

Funny how that works..thankful for the universe sending a friend like him 🖤

Saturday was one of those afternoons where you walk in a little chaotic…
and leave like “okay… I feel like a functioning human again” 😅✨

No pressure.
No pretending you’ve got it all together.
Just a bunch of us slowing down for a minute (which apparently is harder than it sounds).

We talked about the moon... but in a way that actually makes sense in real life.

Candles were lit.
Herbs were everywhere.
Intentions were set (and actually felt doable, not overwhelming).

And the best part?

You walk in not knowing anyone…
and walk out with lunch plans and a bag full of little things to keep the magic going at home 🖤✨

Small group.
Good people.
A little bit of chaos.
A lot of “why don’t I do this more often?”

Honestly… it’s the kind of space you don’t realise you need until you’re sitting in it.

Sooo guess what I did…

Just casually sat on a panel… in front of a room full of people… with a microphone 😅🎤

Friday night I was invited to be part of Focus On: Women in Business at Cassegrain Wines.

Now if you know me, you know I’m much more comfortable hiding in the back corner, or at home avoiding social settings alltogether… not speaking into a microphone with actual humans listening 👀

🖤 But I did it anyway.

In between the mind blanks, the fidgeting,
and the internal “what am I even saying right now” moments…

I showed up.

Definitely not polished.
Definitely not perfect.
And there definitely was a few swear words 😅

But that wasn’t the point.

The point was doing the thing that felt uncomfortable.
The thing I would’ve talked myself out of a year ago.

And realising… I can actually do hard things.
Even when I don’t feel ready.

So here’s your reminder (and mine):

You don’t have to feel confident.
You don’t have to feel prepared.
You just have to show up.

Proud of myself for this one.
Even if it was a little chaotic.

Growth is scary, but whats life without a little risk! ✨

Sometimes I catch a glimpse of myself… and it doesn’t look how I thought it would ✨

Somewhere along the way
I stopped trying to become her
and realised I already was 🖤
(or at least… closer than I give myself credit for)

This version of me…
the one who backed herself
who built something real
who kept going even when it felt messy, slow and uncertain

She didn’t appear overnight
she was built in the quiet moments
underneath the doubt..
and the “what am I even doing?” days

And maybe that’s the magic no one talks about

It’s not in becoming someone else
it’s in finally seeing yourself clearly 🔮
(even if it’s a little upside down at first) 😅

Business… but make it futuristic 🔮

On Tuesday 17th March I stepped out of the shop (and my comfort zone) and headed to the Business NSW Mid North Coast Technology Summit.

And honestly… it was a lot.
(In a good way.)

Big conversations.
Big ideas.
And a whole lot of “okay wow… the future is already here and I’m just trying to keep up” energy.

It was really interesting (and slightly confronting) seeing how fast things are shifting…
and realising how important it is that we shift with it.

Will I be handing The Witchy Nook over to AI anytime soon?
Absolutely not. The crystals said no 😅

But can we use it to grow, evolve, and support what we’re building?
100%.

Because it’s not just about content or videos…
it’s about how businesses operate, connect, and move forward.

I walked away feeling inspired, slightly overwhelmed, and very aware that things are changing whether I like it or not.

So we may as well learn, adapt… and bring a little bit of magic with us while we do it 🖤✨

Owning a witchy shop is a dangerous game when you love everything in it…

because my “favourites” change daily
hourly
and sometimes mid-conversation

🔮 Which is probably why the shop is always evolving…
new crystals
new pieces
new little things you didn’t know you needed until they were suddenly your whole personality

Is it because I love keeping things fresh for you?
…yes

Is it also because I’m constantly finding my next favourite?
also yes (no shame here)

you already know this is a very real problem 😂

✨ But honestly, that’s the magic of it
you don’t find the piece… the piece finds you

(and then a week later another one finds you too… balance)
