Life can feel busy, demanding and at times overwhelming. Balancing a small business, long days in clinic, long nights of paperwork and time away from your family isn’t easy.
But then you pause and reflect on the incredible people you get to help… and realise, in ways they may never expect, they help you too.
Today we celebrate some of those amazing humans- their outlook on life, their strength and their determination in the face of adversity.
1. Joe celebrated this 5 year Stroke-aversary. Over this time this legend has turned up twice a week for rehabilitation without fail. Not once has he complained, said he couldn’t do it, or taken a step back.
2. Beautiful Laura has faced a difficult time of late, and through it all she has shown immense courage and strength. She slightly ignored her Physio’s advice to skip the swim leg in her first triathlon, she adapted found a new stroke and got herself through.
3. Maddie and Meils these two make every Friday afternoon something to look forward. Continually challenging themselves and their bodies. I am so in awe of you both.
4. Neddie… what a testament of grit . You organised and ran 100 km in memory of your beautiful Oma. With no more than a 30km long run under your belt. Your pure strength and love for Winnie and family saw you through.
5. Binnie … finally we get to enjoy a few runs/
Walkies together again after a hard 12 + months for you. Thank you for always being my sounding board and voice of reason.
6. Exciting times ahead …. Hopefully I can pull of something I am so passionate about providing to the
Community of Port Macquarie . Thank you to my beautiful family for your never ending love and support
