Meet Denis
After many years of dedication to the local yoga community through her studio, the Yoga Shala, Denis now chooses a quieter life, close to nature in the Port Macquarie hinterland.
She has been a passionate advocate for community death care in the Hastings. Denis is a founding member of the not-for-profit death care provider Tender Funerals and she continues to be active in changing the culture around death and dying in our community.
Denis will be running the session 'Establishing Presence in Everyday Life'
Life is precious. Yet, we squander much of it by being lost in our minds.
In this session we will explore together how we can integrate tools like conscious breathing, stillness, connection to our natural environment into our everyday lives to become more present and reap the benefits of living a more engaged life and deepening our relationship with ourselves and others.
Join this circle to experience being present with yourself and with others as we share our experiences.
