I can still remember the remarkable increase in energy I experienced after my very first Healing Touch (HT) session. This amazing experience inspired me to begin my Healing Touch training and change my life! I went to my first HT session with symptoms of chronic fatigue and other health concerns. I couldn't believe the shift in my energy within a couple of days after that treatment. I felt I was buzzing and able to do the day-to-day life tasks that I hadn't been able to do in a long time. After many years of searching for a solution to my health challenges I have found Healing Touch to be a significant tool in my healing journey. As my journey towards better health and balance in my life continues, I am passionate about sharing this technique to support you on your healing journey. Healing Touch is an energy therapy where light touch is used on the clothed body to restore harmony and balance to the body's energy system. When balanced, the body is better able to heal. Using touch we influence the human energy system, specifically the energy field that surrounds the body and the energy centres that control the flow from the energy field to the physical body. These non-invasive techniques utilise the hands to clear, energise and balance the human and environmental energy fields, affecting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and healing in a positive way. In Healing Touch the goal is to empower the client to activate the innate wisdom of the body to self regulate and heal all aspects of the self. The technique can be used for people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. In particular it can be used to facilitate healing in:
• to decrease anxiety, tension and stress
• for the prevention of illness
• for the reduction of pain
• for the facilitation of wound healing
• as preparation for medical treatments and procedures
• to manage the side effects of treatments and medications
