Kinesiology absolutely changed my life. At a young age I lost my brother and for nearly 8 years I lived in a trauma response. What that means is, I was hyper-vigilant, I would react very quickly to anything without reason, I felt stressed in my body like I should always be doing something and I wouldn’t feel okay relaxing. The biggest thing was, I wasn’t really living. I was coasting through life on autopilot, not experiencing the joys of life but also not experiencing sadness. I was numb. Numb to all emotion because that was how I survived.

When you experience a trauma, your body goes into fight, flight or freeze - depending on the way you previously reacted to a similar situation. The problem comes when the trauma has passed and your Amygdala (the part in your brain that goes into fight, flight or freeze) doesn’t switch off. This results in living in constant fight, flight or freeze. For me that was freeze.

Until I had a Kinesiology session. It absolutely changed my life. I started living again and experiencing life for all that it has to offer. I started to see a positive future for myself. That is why I chose to study Kinesiology. The change that it created in my life is absolutely amazing, but to see my clients walk out feeling happier, more optimistic and more in control of their life, its such a blessing 💗
