💟 Our bright vibrant and dedicated daughter-in-law Sophie Russell is raising much needed funding for brain cancer research for the Mark Hughes Foundation.
She will shave her hair on Saturday 2nd March 2024. Her dad, Brendan was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme grade 4 only a few months ago. There has been minimal research advancements over the last few decades. 🧠🧪🔬

🌻He completed a successful surgery, radiation and is undergoing continuing chemotherapy from home.💊💉

🫂 Brendan is only 58 years young, and has so much more life yet to live. 💜🙏

✨At this time of the year, many families will celebrate together, while others will not. 🎈

💞The emotions won't change, but knowing how to heal the pain by viewing our loved ones and knowing how much they loved us. 🌹

Instead of trying to get over the grief, feel your feelings deeply, understand the pain and be intimate with it. I don't believe we can ever "get rid of" grief but we can give it a place to live within us that keeps our memories of loved ones safe and warms our hearts.
