October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to create awareness, and honour the millions of lives affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer awareness plays a vital role in educating individuals about the disease, its symptoms, and the importance of early detection. Regular self-examinations and awareness of changes in breast tissue can lead to earlier diagnoses, which significantly improve treatment outcomes.
Wearing pink, organizing fundraising events, and participating in community activities are common ways to show support and raise funds for breast cancer research. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

On Tuesday, we said a very sad farewell to Dr. Nevenka Stancevic as she entered retirement.

Dr. Stancevic has been a valued part of our team for more than 16 years, and in that time she has left a lasting mark on all of us. The memories, the laughter, her smiling face, and the care and compassion she showed to both patients and colleagues will never be forgotten.

Nevenka was always a joy to work with—nothing was ever too much trouble—and we will be forever grateful for the wonderful years we shared working alongside her.

As one chapter closes, another begins, and we wish Nevenka every happiness as she enjoys her retirement and precious time with family.

For her patients, appointments can be made with Dr. Thiyasha, who will now be caring for the majority of Dr Nevenka's patients. Please call the practice on 5525 1111 to book.
