A Free Monthly Community Event by J&D Supports

All money raised goes back into supporting our various programs and community initiatives.

Event Overview

Shine Bright is a monthly community event hosted by J&D Supports, designed to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for people of all ages and abilities.

This is a fun, alcohol-free evening focused on:
• Building confidence
• Social connection
• Self-expression
• Community inclusion
• Celebrating different abilities

Everyone is welcome.

• Karaoke performances
• Themed nights (rotating monthly)
• Group songs and duets
• Supportive and encouraging environment
• Family-friendly atmosphere

Each month may feature a different theme while keeping the Shine Bright brand consistent.

🤝 Support & Accessibility

Shine Bright is a community event.

Support workers are welcome to attend with their clients to provide assistance and encouragement throughout the evening.

We maintain:
• A respectful environment
• Clear safe-space expectations
• Staff presence for support
• A structured and predictable schedule

🎟 WHITE SPECIAL TOKENS

At the start of the night, every child will receive a white token.
Hidden among them will be 5 SPECIAL TOKENS 🤍✨
These are not announced straight away.
🎉 How It Works
All children receive a white token on entry
5 of those tokens are marked as Special Event Tokens
Children are told to hold onto their token until later in the night
Near the end of the disco…

🎤 The big announcement is made
Anyone holding one of the 5 special tokens will trigger a surprise event

📣✨ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – NEW ADMIN HOURS! ✨📣

Starting Monday 2nd March 2026, J&D Supports will be operating under updated Admin hours to better support our clients, families, and team.

🗓 Monday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
🗓 Tuesday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
🗓 Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
🗓 Thursday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
🚪 Friday: Closed

💙 Please note:
Our group programs will continue running 5 days a week as scheduled.
J&D Supports will still be operating 7 days a week / 24 hours a day for client supports.

We’re excited about these changes and what they mean for improved accessibility and support across the week.
