Hi everyone, my name is Angus Westphalen and I am a Masters of Occupational Therapy student. I am researching the sustainability of group therapy programs within Thrive Health Centre.

Today is Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Day and this year’s theme is “you can’t see DLD”. 🚫👀
DLD affects 1 in 14 children, and is a lifelong condition that impacts a persons ability to understand and use language. With the right support and intervention, people with DLD can learn strategies to assist them with understanding, interpreting and using language effectively throughout their life.
