EMpower Pathways 16-week “What’s The Buzz?” sessions, and we are looking for a few more children to join our next 16 week program.

This evidence-based program helps young people build social and emotional skills in a supportive, fun environment. Through structured activities and guided discussions, participants learn how to:

✨ Build and maintain friendships
✨ Understand and manage their emotions
✨ Improve social communication and connection
✨ Develop empathy and “mind-reading” social skills
✨ Respond to teasing, bullying, and tricky social situations
✨ Strengthen confidence and self-awareness

The program supports children to grow emotionally, socially and confidently, while learning practical skills they can use every day.

Program details:
• 16 structured sessions
• Small, supportive group environment
• Designed to build social confidence and emotional literacy

Congratulations to Cam on being named Vice School Captain for 2026!
Over the past 12 months, Cam’s growth, confidence, and genuine kindness have flourished so much. Watching him step into leadership with such positivity and care for others has been incredibly special.
We couldn’t be more proud of the leadership he shows both at school and during group sessions with EMpower Pathways. A fantastic achievement and very well deserved, well done Cam! 🌟

Over two epic nights at social group, we ran our very own version of Pokémon Go…
“Pokemon EMpower Go!”
Mini figures were hidden all over the park, small teams were formed, maps were drawn and handed out… and the hunt was ON.
Gotta catch them all!
The energy, laughter and teamwork across both nights was incredible. Every single participant and support worker got involved and the competitive spirit definitely came out in the best way.
The real wins?
• Teamwork
• Communication
• Problem solving
• Movement & exercise
• Social connection
•Confidence building
• Community participation
☆ So much FUN
Activities like this aren’t just games, they build life skills in a natural, engaging way while creating genuine friendships and shared experiences.
We’re so proud of the way everyone worked together, supported one another and threw themselves into the challenge.
Already planning the next adventure 👾

Today we want to give a special shout out to one of our incredible participants 👏
He has been choosing to use his support hours not only to build practical skills for his own future, but to give back to the community at the same time.
Through volunteering with Meals on Wheels, he’s developing confidence, communication skills, time management and responsibility, all while helping deliver meals and connection to people who truly value that friendly face at the door.
This is what capacity building looks like in real life.
It’s not just about learning skills....it’s about purpose, contribution and being part of something meaningful.
We are so proud to support goals that build independence and strengthen our community 💜
