This has been a truly special highlight for us. We love supporting the incredible clinicians and their clients at Seva House during their EMDR therapy intensives.
This year, we have also loved supporting clients 2:1 Sound Healing sessions, as well as 1:1 Hypnotherapy with Steph. Steph is especially excited to become certified in Resource Therapy in early 2026. 🙏🌸
✨ Michele’s 2025 Highlight ✨
EMDR Intensives with Sound Healing
This year has brought so many highlights—from growing our company’s training arm to reaching more practitioners than ever. But my personal highlight? Introducing EMDR Intensives at Seva House and incorporating sound healing sessions at the end.
A Powerful Combination
I’ve always believed in EMDR’s transformative capacity but offering it as an intensive experience has opened up new possibilities. Clients move through trauma material in concentrated sessions—sometimes several hours or full days—creating momentum that would take months in traditional weekly therapy.
After facilitating several intensives, I noticed my clients needed something more. Their nervous systems were in a heightened state after deep trauma processing. They needed a way to integrate and ground before returning to their lives.
That’s when I was able to work with to offer sound healing sessions at the end of each intensive. This combination has been more powerful than I imagined.
Why It Works
After the EMDR Intensive, clients transition into the expert care of Sound & Spirit facilitators. The vibrations from singing bowls, gongs, throat chanting and chimes work on a level beyond words. Where EMDR reprocesses trauma, sound healing helps the nervous system recalibrate and settle.
What moves me most is watching clients reconnect with their wholeness. One client said, “The EMDR helped me process what happened to me. The sound healing helped me remember who I am underneath it all. It brought me home”
This work reminds me why I do what I do. Creating space for people to remember their courage and reclaim their sense of self.
And that has truly been my highlight of the year.
