Caring for a loved one living with dementia can be both rewarding and challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Join us for our next Carer’s Connect morning tea on Thursday, 4 December at 10:30am at St Luke’s Care.

This special gathering offers a warm, supportive space for primary carers to come together, share experiences, and connect with others who truly understand.

The morning will be facilitated by our Senior Social Worker and Dementia Support Specialist, Deanna Maunick, who will guide conversation, offer support, and help you build connections that last beyond the day.

Everyone is welcome — come as you are, enjoy a cuppa, and take a moment for yourself in the company of others who care.

Over ten years ago, St Luke’s Care (Lulworth House) proudly partnered with The Clown Doctors Australia to bring smiles, laughter, and play into the lives of our residents. What began as a simple idea to use joy as healing, has grown into a decade-long partnership filled with unforgettable moments and heartfelt joy.

On Friday, we celebrated this wonderful milestone with residents, staff, directors, executives, and of course, our colourful friends from the Clown Doctors! The room was alive with laughter, music, and memories, a true reflection of the happiness this program continues to bring each week.

A big thank you to the St Luke’s Care Foundation for making this partnership possible and for continuing to support initiatives that nurture wellbeing and connection.

Here’s to another ten years of laughter and love at Lulworth House!

Whether you’re signing up for a Home Care Package (now called Support at Home) or moving into Residential Aged Care, it’s important to understand what these updates mean for you and your family.

At St Luke’s Care, we’ve established a FREE Aged Care Information Service to help guide you through the changes.
