Liz Wheeldon, Founder of CircleTalk, shares a fresh perspective on the use of the word “goals” within the NDIS/disability sector. She explains how traditional goal-setting language can sometimes feel triggering or overwhelming for participants, and why she has shifted to using “things you want to do” within the CircleTalk app.

Are mainstream schools inclusive of special needs students?

In this highlight from Episode 2 of Outreach, Liz Wheeldon, founder of Circletalk shares a powerful insight: support doesn’t always need to be visible to be effective.

For students with additional needs, being included isn’t about standing out, it’s about feeling like everyone else.

That’s where tools like Circletalk come in. A “stealth mode” approach that helps teachers understand their students better, without putting a spotlight on them, making inclusion more natural, respectful, and real.
