💥 DISC PRESSURE 💥 Here is a really informative diagram that shows the different disc pressures that accumulate in the lumbar spine in various body positions. When lifting at the gym, particularly with dumbbell pressing it’s always encouraged to place them on the thighs first before lowering yourself into a flat or decline press routineS. Avoiding lifting with load from the floor & it will save your back as you can see 275% + pressure is accumulated in this position with dumbbells / load.
