Formal Notice: Commitment to Respect and Professional Standards
Engaged Support Services is a registered NDIS provider committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and respect. As part of our obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct, the Zero Tolerance Framework, and international human rights legislation, we affirm the following:
Abuse, neglect, or disrespect will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
This applies equally to interactions between staff and participants, and participants and staff. Every individual has the right to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
Respect is a two-way street.
If you expect respect, you must demonstrate respect. Disrespectful behaviour toward management, staff, or participants will no longer be tolerated. This includes verbal abuse, intimidation, or any conduct that undermines our values and obligations.
Our Standards Are Non-Negotiable.
As a registered provider, we are held to strict professional and ethical standards. While the NDIS framework does not always align with Fair Work or the SCHADS Award, we are bound by the NDIS Code of Conduct and human rights principles, and we will not waiver from these obligations.
Legal Enforcement.
We have a large legal firm on retainer and will take decisive action where necessary. This is a formal notice and warning: continued breaches of respect and conduct standards will result in immediate consequences.
Too often, individuals “bite the hand that feeds them” and then play the victim. This behaviour is incompatible with our mission and values. We have implemented changes to align with our vision for a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all.
Respect is not optional, it is mandatory.
Together, we can maintain a culture of dignity and accountability.
