We’ve been quietly working on something - and today, we’re thrilled to share it with you.

The Activated Probiotics Masterclass is officially back on tour.

In 2024, we had the privilege of travelling across Australia, connecting face‑to‑face with our practitioner community through the launch of Biome Dental.
This time, we’re returning with a renewed focus on what matters most: education.

Your patients are asking the questions.
You’re seeing the changes in practice.
And the science is evolving faster than ever.

Join us for an intimate evening of evidence‑informed conversation exploring perimenopause - the changes, the challenges, and the complementary strategies available to support the body through this transition.

This is a space to connect with peers, share clinical insight, deepen understanding, and feel empowered with practical, microbiome‑informed perspectives you can take back into practice.
Whether you’re experiencing this transition yourself, supporting patients through it, or simply passionate about staying informed, these events are designed with practitioners in mind.

Touring Australia this April - June, find the closest event to you and your practice.

Tickets are now live via the link below

We’d love to see you there.

Building immune resilience at home can be complex, but childhood illnesses play an important role in immune development. Exposure to new microorganisms helps the immune system recognise, respond and adapt more effectively over time. Our latest blog outlines 7 practical back-to-school tips to help support immunity.

Please note, we will be taking a break from 20 December to 3 January. All enquiries will be responded to following our return to office. Thank you for your support this year and a very happy holidays!

Acne affects around 80% of people aged 12–30 - but what’s really driving it?

Acne can be a challenging experience for many teenagers and young adults, and as with many other health conditions, we’re now beginning to understand that acne might be driven by inflammation. Hear from our Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager, Ben Makeham, as he explores how the gut-skin axis and inflammatory pathways could be influencing breakouts.

Biome Acne™ Probiotic is targeted and clinically trialled, with a combination of specific probiotic strains studied for acne (1). Each capsule uses Microbac™ microencapsulation to help more bacteria survive the stomach and reach the gut alive. It’s shelf-stable, so no refrigeration required.

Practitioners: connect with our education team to start a conversation about integrating Biome Acne™ Probiotic into patient care.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

What kind of microbiome are we passing down?

We inherit far more than just Grandma’s eyes or Dad’s stubborn streak. Each generation passes down an invisible legacy - trillions of microscopic inhabitants that can influence many aspects of our biology, from immune function to mood balance.

The fascinating part? This microbial inheritance isn’t set in stone. Your microbiome is a living, breathing ecosystem that continues to evolve based on lifestyle choices, environment, and the people you share your life with.

Recent research reveals that family members living together develop remarkably similar gut bacteria profiles within just months. We’re literally sharing our inner ecosystems through everyday interactions - shared meals, hugs, and even the family pet contribute to this microscopic melting pot.

So remember: you’re the curator of a microbial museum that will influence the next generation.

From the foods you eat, to your stress levels, to the medications you use, these everyday choices quietly shape your microbial community and the legacy you’re creating.

The question isn’t just “What kind of world are we leaving our children?” but “What kind of microbiome are we passing down?”

Specific probiotic strains within Biome Acne™ Probiotic have been studied for their ability to reduce skin inflammation and impact the overgrowth of C. acnes via their effects within the gut (1). In a human clinical trial, Biome Acne™ Probiotic significantly improved the symptoms of acne, reduced skin redness, and improved the composition of the skin microbiome (2).

To organise product training on this probiotic or for physical resources, reach out to your local practitioner education consultant. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Over 90% of Australian teenagers experience acne (1), and many adults do too. Acne impacts skin health and quality of life, often affecting self-esteem.

If acne is something you’re facing, the health of your gut (and your gut microbiome) plays a role. Read more about how the gut-skin axis influences acne via the link in our bio.

See how the inflammatory cycle of acne vulgaris can become self-perpetuating, creating conditions that favour overgrowth of skin bacteria such as Cutibacterium acnes.

When the gut microbiome is balanced, beneficial bacteria signal to the skin to help calm inflammation and discourage growth of problematic microbes like C. acnes. This supports clearer skin.
