Holiday stress doesn’t wait for the holidays — it often begins quietly in early December.

The planning. The expectations. The errands. The shifting routines. Your nervous system feels all of it long before you realise how much you’re carrying.

Massage offers a moment to soften, release and recalibrate. It supports deeper rest, steadier energy and a calmer baseline — so you can move through the season with more ease, not more tension.

To support your wellbeing during the festive season, I’ll be extending my trading hours over Christmas. I’ll be open Monday 29 December through to Wednesday 31 December, offering space for rest, reset and care during the holidays.

If your body is already whispering for support, it may be the perfect time to listen.

I’ve noticed a few new faces around here lately, so I thought it was the perfect time for a little re-introduction 👋

Hi, I’m Anita, the heart behind Healing Hands here in Queanbeyan. I’ve been a qualified beauty therapist for over 20 years, but my true calling has always been wellness.

Over the years, I’ve followed that passion, studying and becoming qualified in healing practices such as Usui Reiki and massage therapy.

Outside of my studio, I’m a wife and proud mum to two gorgeous boys. Life is full, but when I do get some downtime, you’ll find me by the ocean in our camper, out in nature, or simply soaking up the sun with a coffee, a good book, or a glass of shiraz in hand ☀️

In my work, nothing brings me more joy than meeting each client where they are on their own wellness and healing journey 🤲💚

I’ve been pouring my heart into creating a space and a business my younger self would be so proud of ✨

When I began reflecting on this post, I was reminded that everyone starts somewhere... whether it’s in business, on a wellness journey, or any path of growth.

Today, I’m pausing to appreciate how far Healing Hands has come, and all that it’s becoming.

These are my values, as both a wellness practitioner and the owner of Healing Hands, and it’s with deep gratitude that I get to live them out each day and share this space with you 🤲💚
