✨ Awakening the Healer Within – A Sacred Reflection

There is a quiet kind of pride that sits gently in the heart…and today, I am allowing myself to feel it 🤍

This past two days, I held my first Reiki 1 workshop and it was such a beautiful, soul-led experience. Two days of connection, learning and gentle unfolding.

✨ Day One guiding us into the energetic body — weaving together Reiki, spirit and astrology as a soul mirror and;
✨ Day Two grounding into the physical body — exploring the organs, their energetic connection and how Reiki supports healing on all levels.

We shared in self-healing, group healing and the most heartfelt exchange of energy between us all.

The rain began the day before we gathered… and stayed with us throughout. Soft, steady, cleansing. It felt symbolic — a quiet release, a washing away, a gentle invitation to let go.

And under the Leo Moon, there was also something else present…a courage of the heart; a willingness to be seen, to open, to step into one’s own light.

Presenting these beautiful women with their certificates was deeply moving — each one honouring their path, their growth, their inner healer.

My heart is so full. I am so grateful for the trust, the openness and the sacred energy we created together. This is why I do what I do🤍

🌙 Cosmic Energy for the Week Ahead ✨ Closing the Astrological Year 🌙
This week carries a deeply reflective and intuitive energy as we move through the final chapter of the astrological year.

With Mercury retrograde meeting Mars in Pisces, thoughts, emotions and instincts may feel heightened. Feelings that have been quietly sitting beneath the surface may now ask to be acknowledged or expressed. In Pisces, this energy often moves through intuition, dreams and subtle emotional awareness, inviting us to respond with sensitivity and compassion rather than reaction.

At the same time, Jupiter now moving forward in Cancer offers a supportive current beneath the intensity. Its influence encourages emotional wisdom, deeper understanding and the ability to see beyond the immediate moment. Even the realisations that feel challenging may ultimately guide growth and clarity.

Mars also connects with the North Node in Pisces, suggesting a moment where our choices and actions may feel particularly meaningful. It can feel like a crossroads — a gentle reminder to pause, listen inwardly and allow your intuition to guide the way forward.

Midweek we welcome the New Moon in Pisces, the final new moon of the zodiac cycle. This sacred closing chapter invites emotional release, spiritual reflection and the opportunity to let go of what the past year has carried.

As we move toward the astrological new year with Aries season, the energy will begin to shift from reflection into renewed momentum. For now, the invitation is simple:
rest, reflect, release… and allow space for the new cycle that is quietly preparing to begin.

Sunday invites us to slow down…to take a gentle breath between the week that has passed and the one about to begin.

Enhancing Reiki Healing with Essential Oils and Gentle Music 🤍
There is something deeply comforting about walking into a quiet healing space where the senses begin to soften before the healing even begins.

A gentle scent in the air, the soft ambient music, the calming presence of stillness. These small but powerful elements invite the body to slow down, the mind to settle and the soul to simply breathe.

In my Reiki healing practice, I have always felt drawn to create an environment that nurtures the whole being — not only through the flow of Reiki energy, but also through the subtle support of aromatherapy and quiet reflective music. Together, they help guide the body into a place of relaxation where healing can unfold naturally and gently.

It was from this intention that the creation of my signature essential oil blend, Love Always began, a beautiful collaboration with Silvana French, founder of French Essentials and an experienced aromatherapist with over 30 years in the field. My signature blend was designed to support the body’s energy centres and enhance the nurturing space of Reiki healing.

Each oil has been carefully and intuitively selected to support the seven major energy centres (chakras) and encourage grounding, emotional healing, relaxation and spiritual connection.

🌕 ✨ Cosmic Energies for the Week ✨ 🌕
The week begins with a reflective and intuitive energy as the Moon moves through Scorpio, gently inviting us inward to be honest about what we are feeling. With Mercury in Pisces forming a supportive connection to Jupiter in Cancer, conversations may carry more depth than usual and intuitive insights can arrive quietly, as though they have been waiting for the right moment to surface.

At the same time, Venus meets Saturn in Aries asking us to look a little more seriously at matters of the heart, our values and the commitments we are making. It’s an energy that encourages honesty — not only about what we truly want, but whether we are ready to honour that desire with real action.

As the Moon moves into Sagittarius on 10th March, the energy begins to lift. There may be a desire to explore, try something new or simply enjoy the moment. Relationships can feel warmer and more spontaneous, although communication may require a little patience as emotions and words may not always move at the same pace, especially with Mercury in his retrograde period.

A gentle turning point also arrives this week as Jupiter begins moving forward again in Cancer on12th March, after a period of retrograde. Themes connected with home, family, emotional security and belonging may begin to slowly gain momentum once more. Something that has felt paused may quietly begin to move again.

Later in the week the Capricorn Moon on Friday 13th March brings our attention to practical matters and longer-term plans, encouraging thoughtful conversations and grounded reflection. It is a reminder that dreams and inspiration are most powerful when we also give them structure and care.

By the weekend the Moon moves into Aquarius, bringing a lighter and more forward-looking energy. Fresh perspectives may appear and new ideas can begin to take shape, reminding us that change often unfolds gently, one step at a time.

We are also approaching the end of the astrological year, as Pisces season draws us into a time of reflection before the Sun moves into Aries on 20th March. International Women’s Day – 8th March - 🤍💜💚
International Women’s Day is officially celebrated on 8 March each year — a global day honouring the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Its roots go back to the early 1900s, born from women advocating for fair working conditions, voting rights and equality. Over time it has become both a celebration and a call to continue standing in strength, voice and solidarity.

This year I’m sharing a little early, as Friday (6 March) feels beautifully aligned ✨
In astrology, Friday is ruled by Venus — the planet of love, beauty, values, harmony and the sacred feminine. A Venus day invites us to soften, to connect, to honour what we cherish… and to remember that love is not weakness — it is power.

We are also in Pisces season, a time of intuition, compassion and spiritual depth. Pisces reminds us of our interconnectedness — that we rise together, not alone.

As Venus prepares to move from Pisces into Aries, we feel a subtle shift…from gentle compassion to courageous self-expression…from dreaming to doing…from dissolving boundaries to defining them.

When your Reiki photoshoot turns into a doggy moment 🐾🤍
While having professional photos taken for my Reiki Level 1 Training Manual, my girl decided it was her moment too — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

These moments were captured by my dear friend Sarah from Sarah Cogdon Photography and Sirius Dog Business, a truly gifted photographer who works with both humans and dogs and is the heart behind a beautiful, soul-led business. She has such a gentle eye for presence and truth, whether she’s photographing people, beloved pets or supporting dogs and their humans as they prepare to cross the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾 Her end-of-life sessions are held with deep compassion and reverence — sacred work in every sense.

After the “serious” shots were done, we had a little fun — and this is what unfolded. So much personality. So much expression. So much heart.

I’m incredibly grateful for your care, your sensitivity and the way you honour connection in all its forms. Thank you Sarah Cogdon for capturing not just images, but moments that will be felt for a lifetime 🤍

🌕✨ Full Moon Ritual
I am not usually one for sharing my personal rituals. They are normally quiet moments; just me, the Moon and whatever is moving within.

But tonight feels different. There has been such a deep shift over these past months.

Energetically, cosmically… and personally.

2025 has felt like a year of endings for me; not dramatic endings, but slow, necessary closures. The kind that ask for honesty and sometimes courage.

With so much planetary energy gathered in Pisces — the last sign of the zodiac — and the turning toward Aries, the first, I can feel the threshold clearly now.

As a Piscean, this season always speaks deeply to me. It feels like standing at the edge of the ocean — where something dissolves… and something new quietly forms beneath the surface. A chapter that began when I chose to take my energy healing and spiritual path seriously is reaching its final closure. What is now rising feels steadier, clearer and fully committed.

So tonight, under this Full Moon Eclipse, I will:
✨ Place my crystals beneath the Moon;
✨ Collect moon water;
✨ Light a candle;
✨ Write down what is truly complete…
and I will safely burn those words — not in anger, but in gratitude. Because release is not rejection. It is growth.

Full Moon • Blood Moon • Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

This week’s Full Moon is not just a culmination — it is a threshold.
At 12° Virgo, a Total Lunar Eclipse opens a powerful portal of release, purification and karmic clearing. What is no longer sustainable — for your body, your nervous system, your spirit — is ready to be gently laid down.

What feels especially poignant right now is that many of the planets are gathered at the very end and the very beginning of the zodiac — Pisces and Aries.

Virgo asks us to look at our daily lives, our habits, our work, our service and notice where perfectionism, over-doing or over-thinking has quietly become a form of control.

Pisces reminds us that surrender is not weakness — it is trust. This Eclipse, falling on the South Node, invites release rather than effort. Not fixing. Not forcing. But allowing what has completed its cycle to fall away.

Your body may speak louder this week. Fatigue, tension, emotion rising unexpectedly — these are messages, not problems.

With Mars newly in Pisces, action softens. Pushing forward won’t work the way it used to. Energy follows intuition now. As Venus prepares to enter Aries, the heart begins to stir — ready for honesty, courage and fresh starts.
