The Coledale Men’s Group is looking to start a 6-week Walk & Talk group next Wednesday!
It’s all about getting together, having a yarn, and taking small steps toward better health.

For those who come along will get a shirt and hat, enjoy a nutritious home-cooked meal, and have a quick chat about healthy eating and the importance of staying active.

This is a great chance for men to connect with the community, support each other, and look after their health especially those managing diabetes, heart concerns, or wanting to feel healthier.

What a deadly day out at Walhallow for the Community Day on the 2nd of October 2025! 💛

There were plenty of laughs, smiles, and good vibes all around.

Big thanks to POP'N Around TOWN for pulling up with your fun foods and tasty slushies.

A massive shoutout to Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation Community Services & Housing Hub for bringing the fun with your mascots and ice cream treats the kids (and a few adults too) absolutely loved it! 🍦

And big thankyou to Todd Williams Music for the deadly tunes all day you really set the mood and had everyone feeling good. 🎶

Days like this remind us what community is all about- coming together, having a yarn, and celebrating the strong spirit of Walhallow. 💛

This retreat is free for eligible participants, with all expenses covered — including transport, meals, accommodation, and activities.

We’re excited to announce that our Coledale Women’s Group will kick off on Monday, 3rd November 2025, and run for six weeks, finishing up on 8th December 2025.

This first six-week program is a chance for us to come together, connect, and see what works best for everyone. If there’s lots of interest, we’d love to keep it going as a regular weekly group!

Goanna Academy at Golland Fields 🏉

What a great day we had yesterday at Golland Fields with the Goanna Academy team! The kids had an awesome time out on the field learning new footy skills, meeting new mates, and getting involved in all the activities.

They also took part in some really valuable sessions around mental health, wellbeing, and social media safety. The sessions talked about confidence, resilience, and how to look after yourself and your friends both online and in everyday life.

A huge thank you to Goanna Academy and Whitehaven Coal for bringing this event to our community, and to all the local services and organisations who came along to support the day.

It was a fantastic day full of community spirit. We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and helped make it such a success 💚🦎

As requested, we’ve extended the closing date for our Art Competition to close of business, Wednesday 15 October. There’s still time to get your entry in!
Submit your artwork to any of our clinics for the chance to win $500. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists of all levels, with all entries anonymously judged by an independent panel.
