✨ This week (27 October – 2 November) we celebrate OT Week 2025 and the theme “Occupational Therapy in Action” — a reminder of the creativity, problem-solving and compassion that drives our work. 

At Kickstart Kids Therapy we’re proud to witness how occupational therapy helps children:

We’ve officially entered the final term of the school year, and for many kids, this time can feel exciting, exhausting, and everything in between.

Whether your child is finishing their first year of school, their final year of primary, or somewhere in between — Term 4 is full of change, and that can bring big feelings. 💬💛

As we wrap up another busy school term, we want to wish all our Kickstart families a wonderful, restful holiday ahead.

The break is a great time to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some unstructured play, outdoor adventures, and quality time together.

If you’re looking for ways to keep kids regulated and engaged over the holidays, here are a few simple OT-inspired ideas:

Skills to learn and play for life!

At Kickstart Kids Therapy, we provide therapy for children and young people that identifies and treats not only the presenting issues but the underlying causes for each child.

We like to use an integrated Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy approach with our highly skilled and experienced team to optimise the results of intervention. We work with the child and the family to develop effective strategies to better support their child and provide guidance on how to best incorporate home-based activities into the family’s daily routine.

Our ability to draw from a variety of intervention approaches ensures that all sessions are unique to each individual child. We specialise in the treatment of children with language and literacy delays, speech sounds disorders, stuttering, social communication difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorder, developmental delays, learning difficulties, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism. We are approved providers for NDIS, FaHCSIA Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) and Better Start packages for early intervention.
